Came up here with my girlfriend for a one night getaway. The inn is of very cool construction from the 1800's, and Maureen (the proprietor) was an absolute delight who continues to keep the inn in great shape. We spent a lot of time talking and getting to know more about Lake Geneva while enjoying the myriad artwork and decorations throughout the space. The William and Mary Room we stayed in had an awesome steam shower, plus a sweet, old Victorian style tub. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use the tub or whirlpool due to an issue with the water heater, but she's been having some work done on it. Before we checked out, Maureen cooked us a delicious breakfast with a full fruit spread, then gave us some deals to local spots to check out before we left. All in all, it was a lovely experience and we would love to stay here again.
Anyway I'm glad the steam bath work well for you. Of course, like you said , now you will always want a steam bath. No more baths. The plumbers came on Monday, found and removed the little tiny stones that were blocking the filter on the hot water for the whirlpool. They put in a variation of a separate clean out so I can check myself on a regular weekly basis so the little stones or sand don't clogged the filter. As you can see I'm still learning new ideas of providing great service even after 30 years at innkeeping . The next time you both come to the inn, I am upgrading you to the Belle Marie room so you can go swimming in the enormous whirlpool in that suite. I hope you use all those Groupon certificates I gave you for the Milwaukee area As you said, see you very soon. Take care, Maureen

Didn't expect a place this nice that accepts dogs. Proprietor Maureen goes out of her way to make you feel welcome - she made great friends with us and our dogs. Absolutely lovely house and room. Amazing bathroom with Jacuzzi and multi-head shower. Yummy breakfast with best French toast on the planet, also fresh berries with cream - everything homemade. Nice location close to everything in Lake Geneva town. Would definitely go back again.
Thanks you so much for taking the time to write a review. You were an amazing couple with two fabulous dogs. They were almost human talking to their grandma. Next time I can dog sit White Sox when you take August to herding trials, so the dogs do not get upset with each other. Hope to see all of you this fall. There is always a different menu but I can make the home made bread and french toast again too. Stay healthy. Maureen

The stay was great. Froom was quite and comfortable. We liked the scented candles and plenty of hot water to fill the tub. Very nice breakfast of fruits and coffee cake with egg soufflé. Hopefully kids will let us do this again!
