We had a lovely stay with wonderfully attentive service. The home is charming and in a beautiful historic neighborhood close to Main Street. Would stay there again.

Room was small and very cluttered. Could not even find spot for my luggage. Food was delicious and fresh from garden and plentiful. Maureen was very friendly and accommodating.

We have stayed with Maureen on several occasions, during many different seasons. We always feel like we are coming home! Maureen is so outgoing, so warm, so welcoming and so is TC Smiths. There are beautifully appointed rooms, the spa tub room is my all time favorite. TC Smith's is an antique paradise! On top of all that she is a wonderful cook, I dare anyone to eat every single thing she puts out for breakfast, I dare you! On top of all that, TC Smith's is dog friendly, yeah, go figure! You can sit in the beautiful yard and relax, you can walk a few blocks to the bustling center of Lake Geneva. Go one more block and you are at the beach. There is so much to do when you are in Lake Geneva, too! It really is a real hidden gem a few blocks from the bustling tourism of downtown Lake Geneva. TC Smiths is a real find! I hope you have as great a stay as we have always had when we go here! Enjoy!

Maureen is a most gracious and attentive hostess. She is quite knowledgeable about Lake Geneva history and things to do in the area. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was spotless and quite comfortable. We had everything we could possibly need - hair products, lotions, hair dryer, wine glasses, etc. Both breakfasts were delicious, including several types of fresh fruits each day. Special requests were cheerfully accommodated. There is also a very nice outside garden area to enjoy. Thank you so much, Maureen, for a lovely stay!

This was our first time as a gift from our kids. What a great experience! The inn is lovely throughout. Maureen is a treasure! We felt like family, and enjoyed chatting with her over breakfast. We had the Belle Marie room, which was beautiful. Every little detail in both our room and breakfast was attended to. We will be adding the in. To our wish list for Christmas. Marti and Nabil

I spent one night at T C Smith Historic Inn. Maureen was a great hostess. Be prepared to chat. She is quite a talker. The room was wonderful, as was breakfast. Lots of fresh fruits. The location is close to town, so I parked my car and walked everywhere that I wanted to go.

This is a great B&B. We love it also because we can bring our dog. We happened upon this place about 3 years ago while looking for 'pet friendly' lodging in Lake Geneva. We keep going back. Maureen is a great hostess and our dog, Chip, loves her. It is also a great place to stay because it is walking distance to the downtown area.
Surely it wad great to see you both as well as Chip. He is about the cutest little fella. Your visits seem all to short. Chip believes I'm his grandmother. In a couple more months you'll be back for a few days in the late summer. I'm glad you had a super time again. There are many days still open for during the week , so, see if you both can sneak away from the busy city. See all of you very soon. Maureen

Maureen was very friendly and nice. When we went to our room there was half a pot of cold coffee from previous people and one cup.. The back massage in the shower was broken and could not be used. The advertised whirlpool was the bottom of a shower with a door not really suited for adults. There was a noise in the wall that kept me up most of the night. Only one chair in the room for two people.. Breakfast was not as described. Pastries were a few slices of coffee cake, some fruit and small egg dishes. For over 200 dollars Ive had better breakfasts of biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, cereal etc complementary at hotels for less than 100 a night. Would not go back!!!
Thank You for taking the time to write a review. I'm sorry you were not happy with your visit to the inn. When you were here you seemed happy with everything. I have called you today to reach out to you to offer you a complimentary visit to the inn. I hope to hear from you soon, although there is not a time limit on the offer to stay at no charge. We did have a real nice visit at breakfast. I was so surprised you were so unhappy with the breakfast. I could have prepared anything you asked for at the time. I would like to add a response to some of your other issues. I'm sorry about the coffee pot issue. I had a guest in that room the night before who checked out late from your room. In my haste in completing all the cleaning I failed to go over my daily checklist before your early arrival. The whirlpool is a standard size whirlpool and standard size door within the elaborate bathing system that is shown on the website. The massage system was not broken. I pointed it out to you that I had recently changed the caulk and mentioned that I would prefer if you did not use the back massage because of a possible leak. So sorry about the single chair in your room. I hoped you would have relaxed in the dining room or the sitting area. I am unaware of any sound in the wall. The rooms are occupied quite often and this is the first time I have heard this. I suspect it was something that I was unaware of. I was home through the day and evening and hoped you would have told me about the noise. The breakfast buffet I served you was 2 egg souffle each, 7 different fruits served individually so you could choose your favorite, yogurt, nuts and a larger tray of pastries consisting of three different types of specialty breads and homemade pastries, choice of juices and coffee . All the food we prepare at the inn is homemade and baked from scratch. The many choices of fruits are always organic. I was unable to serve the asparagus as I usually do because it was unavailable at the three markets I shop at. I always cook from scratch in our kitchen and ovens. Also, we never serve pre-prepared food items like frozen waffles, pancakes and biscuits with gravy. When you make your date to come for your complimentary stay, I will prepare what you request at the time you make your reservation. While you were here you seemed happy with your stay. Next time you return for your complimentary visit I will give you the Belle Marie room which has a king size bed and the huge whirlpool with the separate marble spa shower. That room has a fireplace, television and movie player as well. I am sure you both will be very happy . Talk to you soon. 262-248-1097 Take Care, Maureen
