Weekend stay in mid-July 2016 with my wife. Best stay at any B&B or other property we have ever visited! Well worth the money with deluxe accommodations, gourmet breakfast food, and great places to visit. Even great hiking paths right on the property. The main view of Lake Wisconsin is really one you need to experience! We hope to get there again soon!

The Inn at Wawanissee Point truly had the most spectacular vista. The Inn, the grounds, the hospitality were beyond expectations. From arrival to departure service and attention to details were outstanding. Hospitality of the owners was warm, thoughtful and welcoming. My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful anniversary get away, topped off by a glass of wine on the balcony savoring the amazing view.

List all the positive adjectives you can think of and then add a row of exclamation points and you would still come up short describing this bed and breakfast. It is lovely beyond words. You will never want to leave but please do so there's a room for me the next time I am in the area.

Gorgeous view of Lake Wisconsin and forested area from the inn, wonderfully cared-for grounds with hiking paths, deliciously prepared breakfasts, beautiful inn with numerous amenities, and two of the friendliest, kindest inn-keepers you'll ever meet. Highly recommended!

I treated my Senorita to a romantic getaway at the Inn at Wawanissee point for her birthday. We were both totally impressed. The accommodations, food and service were incredible. Dave and Trudy were great guests. We will definitely return. This is the best B&B I have ever experienced.

Dave and Trudy are wonderful people that really make your stay enjoyable. Always with a quick recommendation for local food and entertainment. The grounds and house are marvelous to explore and the breakfast is phenomenal. This has become our annual anniversary retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Wawanisse Point. Dave and Trudy certainly know how to make people feel welcomed. Their attention to detail is evident in so many ways, and we were delighted with our accommodations. Not only were the breakfasts delicious, but we were also treated to spend time with them in their beautiful bar room for a wine and cheese “happy hour”. The area has many things to see and do and there is a plethora of parks and nature trails. The inn’s property boasts a beautiful moss covered trail that just beckons you to explore. Our hosts had several restaurant recommendations for us and we were very pleased with them all; for service and food quality. We highly recommend this B & B and will certainly return.

Had a wonderful first time at the Inn. Trudy and Dave are so attentive and welcoming! Breakfast is amazing and very filling - great start for a day of hiking at nearby attractions such as Parfrey's Glen, Devil's Lake State Park, or at the B&B's own moss-covered trails. Amenities such as the view, telescopes, in-room binoculars for bird-watching, dry sauna, and wine & cheese hour made it over-the-top amazing! Would highly recommend.

The property, atmosphere, amenities and Innkeepers were simply amazing! My husband and I felt completely comfortable, the Inn and surrounding view is just breathtaking; the breakfasts and wine/cheese hour were outstanding; snowshoes were available for property trails as we stayed in January; just an overall wonderful place to stay! We will definitely be planning a trip again soon!

Trying to describe the Inn at Wawanissee Point is like trying to describe Yosemite National Park or the meaning of Mona Lisa’s smile. The building itself is beautiful outside, large, warm and comfortably inviting inside, with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Just walking into the building will thrill your senses! The innkeepers, Trudy and Dave are welcoming and supporting without being intrusive. The four beautifully appointed rooms are all slightly different and none have adjoining walls. An eye appealing and delicious breakfast is served with a glorious morning view. Evenings bring a wine and cheese social time. On the property there are trails to walk and glens to explore. Wildlife is all around but to see it, patience and quiet are the key. Your days may be spent driving to the many local sights, relaxing in comfortable surroundings listening to music, or reading your favorite author; you choose. Caution: you may not want to leave!

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was a very pleasant experience. The Inn Keepers were very accommodating. The bed and breakfast was very cozy, clean, and had an excellent view. The breakfast in the morning was always very good. They also had a wine and cheese hour at 5:30 which we thought was unique, but very much enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again n the future!

A great place to stay very near Devil's Lake, Baraboo and many good restaurants. The home and property are beautiful and very well maintained. Guests are supplied with walking sticks, binoculars, and great views if the weather cooperates. The personnel are very personable and the breakfasts scrumptious. This is not a budget accommodation, but stay if you can-you will not regret it.

We stayed 2 days. Dave and Trudy were excellent hosts, seemed almost psychically aware of our every need. The location is incredibly beautiful, and convenient to many wonderful local sites.

My wife and I went up to the Inn for our wedding anniversary. Stepping in the front door and seeing the amazing view was a breathtaking experience. We loved our room, the food was great (breakfast and wine & cheese), and the hosts are very friendly. We would stay here again for sure.

This is the third time we have stayed at Wawanissee Point. Every time has been amazing. The rooms are extremely comfortable, breakfasts are superb and filling, and the environment is very relaxing. Dave and Trudy are wonderful hosts; they say that all of their guests are friends they have never met before. If you are looking for a place to get away and spend a quite relaxing weekend, this is the place.

Absolutely spectacular view as well as the nighttime stars. Very quiet, peaceful location. Property was beautiful with the native prairie, moss covered trails and wildlife (fox, birds, deer). The Inn was beautifully designed, comfortable and fully equipped. Dave and Trudy took wonderful care of us, with great breakfast, and wine and cheese in the evening. The area has wonderful hiking and unusual attractions.

Just a fabulous Inn and worth every penny. The Inn is absolutely beautiful, the room so comfy and immaculately clean, the breakfast wonderful...and when I had to leave at 6:00 a.m. to compete in a nearby triathlon, Trudy and Dave had coffee and coffee cake set out for us! The setting is idyllic with breathtaking views of Lake Wisconsin and the countryside. Can't say enough about the Inn and Wawanissee Point! Spectacular! Fabulous!

Wow! What a relaxing visit! The groomed hiking/running trails on-property provided an excellent retreat area. The complimentary happy hour provided an excellent opportunity to meet the hosts and other guests as well as get dinner recommendations. The views of Lake Wisconsin, proximity to Devil's Lake and The Dells really made this place to stay when visiting central Wisconsin!!!

Excellent B and B. Highly recommend for a short weekend stay. Beautiful grounds and view overlooking the Baraboo hills. Room were immaculate, breakfast food was unique and very good. Plenty of places to go and hike during the day and several Supper Clubs to choose from for an evening of tranquil relaxation. Perfect place to get away from it all.

A beautiful inn with beautiful surroundings and perfect hosts! What more could you want? We will definitely be back!
5 on May 27, 2014
The Inn is wonderful. It is so thoughtful…binoculars, a place to charge your electronic devices, great pillows and linens, a fire set up outside for the evening--wonderful details. We felt like we were in our own estate. Trudy makes a fabulous breakfast and great appetizers to go with Wine and Cheese at 5:30. The trails are fun to explore and the view truly is the best in Wisconsin. It is close to the Dells, Devil's Lake and Frank LLoyd Wright's Taliesin in Spring Green. The Circus Museum in Baraboo is a great activity also.
Wow! A huge thank you to all of our guests who take the time to share their experience at the Inn. Reviews like this remind us of our lucky we are to meet the nicest folks from all over the world and be able to do this in our own home. We thank the Lord every day for this amazing view and for letting us build our home to accommodate friends we have never met. But for sure the greatest compliment of all, is seeing those friends back and again staring out the Great Room window. Gratefully, Trudy and Dave.

My husband and I just spend our first anniversary at the Inn and plan to make it an annual tradition. We instantly felt at home and comfortable. The property was absolutely gorgeous and so well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and so much better than anything you could get at a local restaurant. Trudy and Dave really have a passion for the B&B business and it definitely shows. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I just returned from our stay at this awesome hideaway just outside of Baraboo. Trudy and Dave have a gorgeous home which they graciously share with their guests. The home was fairly recently built, with attention to every detail. The floor to ceiling windows, the stonework throughout, and the breakfast area with views of the property are amazing. In addition to the wonderful home-made breakfast, they also provide guests with a complimentary Happy Hour where they serve great wines and a wonderful assortment of cheeses. We would return to the inn in a heartbeat!

We stayed in February 2013. It was a wonderful winter weekend. The Inn at Wawanissee Point is a magnificent place to stay. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious. After breakfast we went snow shoeing on the trails in a peaceful wooded area. Along the trail is a nice babbling brook that lead to a small pound. Also, there is a nice little surprise along the trail but I'll let Trudy and Dave fill you in on that. The cheese and wine hour is wonderful. It is a nice way to start the evening and get to know the Innkeepers and other guests. I also relaxed in the massage chair which actually ended up being a very nice massage. The view we had from both the sitting areas and our room (Teepee room) was absolutely breath taking. Finally, Dave and Trudy were always available to help out with anything and were extraordinary innkeepers.

From the moment you walk thru the front entry, your drawn in as the panoramic window and views just wisk you away. Your Inn keeper is welcoming you with there lovely home and all you can do is look for miles and miles onto the beauty that is right at your hands . This lovely 42 wooded acres at the top of the Baraboo Bluffs. You know at that point, you've done your research right and nothing can match this amazing Inn. Rooms in this lovely Inn are endless, each has its amazing features, along with beautiful views. We choose Bordeaux Room, having a massage tub which would be good for all of our hiking and biking but they also have a hot tub on the property. Each morning Trudy and Dave, would serve us a wonderful breakfast and by no means are we talking a continental breakfast. Many of us took pictures for her amazing and beautiful creations. We where there three night and four days and never was there a repeat of breakfast. That's not all, in the evening, they had a wine and cheese hour, giving us guest a chance to met and share with one another, We met some wonderful people as we tasted local cheese from the area and shared about our events that took place day after day. What a wonderful romantic getaway, it was a lovely place to celebrate my husbands birthday. THANK YOU, TRUDY AND DAVE ;-)

We just returned from a two-night stay at the Inn at Wawanissee Point and it has quickly moved to the top of the list among our Bed and Breakfast experiences. The inn itself is incredible and the natural beauty of the setting is even more so. It proved to be the perfect escape out into the country. The views are amazing and the trails that traverse the property are beautiful. The innkeepers, Dave and Trudy are gracious and welcoming and always eager to assist us in finding that perfect spot for dinner. Breakfast was amazing and there were always sweet treats available for a snack. This is a bird lovers paradise with nearby woods and ample feeders - all sorts of birds abound. We hated to come back to the real world here at home, but we're already trying to find an excuse to go back to Wisconsin just to stay at the Inn again.

This inn really does have the best view in Wisconsin overlooking Lake Wisconsin and their private 42 acres of hiking trails. Trudy and Dave could not have been more hospitable. Their attention to detail in furnishings, gardens and amenities left us speechless. Trudy is an exquisite cook and Dave loves to pour the beverages at the evening wine and cheese. We cannot wait to return and have told all of our family and friends! L&J from Arlington Heights

This is a BEAUTIFUL bed and breakfast! Everything from the rooms, accommodations, staff, and food were beyond parr - the view itself is worth every penny. The hostest, Trudy, is lovely and keeps the Inn in tip-top shape. Her breakfast was out of this world - creative and delicious down to the last drop. The walking paths in the back of the house lead to even more enchantment. I would highly recommend staying at this Inn.

This was by far the best bed and b-fast experience I have had. Devil's Head lodge was full, I searched around and found this place. The hosts are very freindly and a delight to share company with. The view has to be one of the most spectacular in the Midwest. So much to do outdoors, year round! You will not be disappointed!

Perfect location from which to explore the Baraboo/Dells Area, close enough that travel is easy, Far enough to lose the hoards! The property (and the veiw) is nothing short of spectacular, and the same may be said for hospitallity of our hosts, Dave and Trudy. This is the first vacation I have had where breakfast has been the stand out dinning experience every day, and that is no mean feat considering the abundance of great restaurants in the Dells area. In conclusion, the Inn at Wawanissee Point gets my enthusiastic recomandation! P.S. Thanks Dave and Trudy!
