| Innkeeper Response |
We are sorry to hear now that this guest was unhappy with their stay; sorrier still that s/he made no mention of this problem during the stay so that we may have worked to find a solution, such as relocating to one of our two guest rooms that are away from the street.
All of our windows have double or triple panes and the clock/radio in each room can provide ‘nature sounds’ if desired. The railroad tracks are ½ mile away on the other side of town, not a few blocks. We can only point to our high percentage of repeat guests and our other reviews as evidence that the noise at night is not bothersome to a great many people. If you are extremely sensitive to noise, please discuss that with us when calling for information or a reservation and we can help you with your choices.
