We stayed at Bonnie Dwaine bed and breakfast for a weekend getaway. We stayed in the quaint "Herron" honeymoon suite. The gourmet breakfast was delicious! We were served a home made cooked apple breakfast that was wonderful. Bonnie and Sid made us feel very welcome and were eager to make our stay enjoyable. The house was like a museum of early 19th century architecture and antiques. The service was outstanding!

A friend and I stayed here our first night on our trip traveling around West Virginia. Could not have asked for a better start to our trip. Bonnie was very friendly, personable and accommodating. Everything you expect in a B & B and more.

My wife and I decided to do something different this year for the 4th of July and visited various attractions in the Glen Dale, Moundsville and the Wheeling West Virginia area. We booked a room and had no idea what a wonderful surprise we were in for. The house is beautiful inside and out. Our room was clean/made you feel like you were home and the breakfast Bonnie cooked each morning was second to none. Bonnie and Sid are wonderful people and without a doubt, you will enjoy your stay as we did. Thanks again Bonnie & Sid, we look forward to seeing you in the future. My Husband surprised me with a getaway for our 40th wedding anniversary and he couldn't have done better no matter how hard he tried. What a beautiful, cozy, welcoming home away from home. My Husband met Bonnie when he booked us and said she was so sweet and welcoming. But she and Sid were out of town when we arrived so we were greeted by Janny. She already knew that my Hubby is an amputee and I was recovering from a kidney transplant so neither of us could manage our bags and wheelchair up the stairs. No problem. She took care of everything! They had already asked my Husband what else they could do to make it perfect and arranged for a bouquet of roses to be in our room on our arrival. They also arranged for me to have a massage in our own room. No detail was too much for them to make our stay as perfect as it was.You could spend days there just admiring all the perfectly placed decorations. If you're ever in that area, you owe yourself a stay at Bonnie's.

The bedroom was spacious and full of small touches, which show how much thought the owners put into renovating the old house - lots of chairs, handy mirrors, and other little things that sometimes negatively differentiate a B&B from a hotel. We were there during the week and enjoyed the "enhanced' continental breakfast with its wide array of choices of cereals, bagels/toast, pastries, etc. The staff were very nice and helpful, too. Convenient to Wheeling, Moundsville, Pittsburgh (about 1.5 hours), and other places.

Well situated, away from the busy shopping area. Close to all amenities, and good value for money.

The Bonnie Dwaine B&B was so memorable in every excellent way possible. Attention to details, coziness, gourmet weekend brunch, comfy bed, whirlpool bath. . .to just name a few impressions. Their smile and welcoming hospitality surpassed my high expectations. If ever in the area of Wheeling-- do not hestitate to book a room with these dear folks!! ~~Evie K
