Meyer House Bed and Breakfast

  • Inn Details

Meyer House was named for the generations of the Meyer's family who made this large Victorian (c.1885) their home. Still with most of its originality, Meyer House can be your home away from home. Located in a small town on top of a mountain in Davis, West Virginia, we're convenient to numerous nearby points of interest; 9 miles from Canaan Valley State Park & Ski Resort, 7 miles from Timberline Ski Resort, 1 mile from Blackwater Falls State Park, 2 miles from Monogahela National Forest, 14 miles from Mt. Storm Lake, and within driving distance of Seneca Rocks, Smoke Hole Caverns, Spruce Knob Lake & Dolly Sods Wilderness Area. Area activities include downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, sledding, hunting, fishing, whitewater rafting, hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, golfing, biking, scuba diving, sightseeing, shopping, antiquing, local crafts, fine restaurants, scenic & adventure tours... plenty of fresh mountain air, and relaxation.

The Meyers house was an awesome Bed and Breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed being there so much. The house was very clean!!! We were so relaxed there and was able to really enjoy our weekend. It was like a home away from home. They were very welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!!! Once you have stayed in a place like this you never want to stay in a hotel again. Thank you Jon and Cindy for welcoming us into your beautiful home and giving us a weekend that is unforgetable. We hope to see you again!!!

This was our second stay at the Meyer House Bed and Breakfast in Davis, WV. We enjoyed both stays immensely. The owner, Cynthia Robeson, is a very gracious hostess and a wonderful cook. The rooms are comfortable and decorated in a style befitting the historic home. We also enjoy going to The Purple Fiddle in nearby Thomas, WV to hear live music.

Our stay was excellent! They really made an effort to make "our" stay as enjoyable as can be. The house is awesome. Loved the high ceilings and large rooms. The bed was really tall and comfy. My girlfriend loved the bath salts. Breakfast made the whole stay complete. It was amazing. The owner was super friendly and accomadating to everything. Highly reccomended.
