This 100-year-old carriage house sits on nearly 2 acres of spacious grounds adorned by shade trees and lush gardens. The 116-year-old Admiral Benbow Inn is a charming Victorian Inn surrounded by oak and maple trees, featuring a Victorian swing and hammock under the pine trees and by the bubbling stream and koi pond. The Inn was completely restored retaining the original wooden panels, frames, arches, and magnificent staircase. The first thing guests notice upon entering the Inn is the beautiful hardwood floors, and tiled fireplace in the sitting room. The sitting room is furnished with comformtable couches for relaxing. The dining room where a continental-plus breakfast is served, is furnished with an antique buffet and china cabinet. All the bedrooms are individually decorated with brass beds except for the master bedroom in which has a canopy bed, along with antique armoires, dressers and tables. The pictures and charts on the walls are a tour in themselves!

Situated on a private road is our ocean-front B&B where a private beach area serves as the front yard. We offer rooms with excellent views of land and sea from large picture windows that overlook the lovely coastal-upland interface. Rooms enjoy varied views from Newport, RI in the west to Falmouth, MA in the east and the neighboring Elizabeth Islands and Vineyard Sound to the north. Across the headland, the Atlantic Ocean is to the south. In addition to the great water views we are surrounded by twenty some acres that support a diverse array of wildlife. Being located on the western tip of the Vineyard we can say that we do enjoy some spectacular sunset skies.
