Wonderful place in the beautiful NC mountains. Town dining and shopping a must. The proprietors are a prefect fit for this B & B. An annual tradition for us.

Romantic Weekend at The Windover Inn Bed & Breakfast (Waynesville, North Carolina)

5 reviewed on November 23, 2014

My husband searched online and found this place for us to stay. Wow! He did a great job. He and I stayed in the Rocky Mountain Suite. It was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the whirlpool was roomy. The breakfast each morning was good and hot. The service was great. Very interesting history with the house. I would definitely stay there again. Met some very nice people. The pictures posted on this site are the true pictures of the house. Close to downtown Waynesville. Great restaurants and shopping. Within driving distance of several sites. Glenn and Jen are wonderful hosts and are full of information about where to go and what to do. You cannot go wrong here!

Home Away from Home at Grandview Lodge (Waynesville, North Carolina)

4.6 reviewed on November 18, 2014

We were pleasantly surprised by the feel & hospitality at Grandview Lodge. Our hosts were delightful & our breakfasts were delicious using local ingredients. Very reasonably priced for quality of room & amenities on the property :-) Conveniently located to food & local attractions, yet a wonderful rural feel. We didn't get to utilize firepit because we were worn out from our daily outings & our Son was on a walker recouping from a broken femur. Our room was handicapped accessible & if weather had been a little warmer we would have utilized the rockers on the covered porch outside our room. We will definitely return to this cozy yet spacious property. Comforts of home yet a camp-like feel conducive to meeting other guests...glamping :-)

Wonderful stay at Andon-Reid at Andon-Reid Inn (Waynesville, North Carolina)

5 reviewed on November 17, 2014

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Andon-Reid recently and had a wonderful time. The couple that own the place are exceptional. So friendly and helpful. Giving us suggestion on places to go and even making reservations for us. The house is beautiful and there is so much to do and see around there. Less than 30 minutes away from Asheville as well. Highly recommend the place.

Our stay at Brookside Mountain Mist Inn at Brookside Mountain Mist Inn (Waynesville, North Carolina)

4.0 reviewed on November 17, 2014

We SO enjoyed our time at Brookside Mountain Mist Inn! Our room did indeed have a mountain view. This inn is across the street from the Waynesville, NC Country Club and in a very nice neighborhood. The grounds are spotless, the food was outstanding and Carolyn and Dina made us feel like we were their very welcome guests!

Dream Getaway! at The Swag Country Inn (Waynesville, North Carolina)

5 reviewed on November 16, 2014

We have stayed in 5 star hotels that did not offer what the Swag provided. We stayed in the Terrace Cabin and with the rustic beauty and scenic view I was in love. There is no TV just WiFi and Sirius radio. This was our first visit but we had a couple who was on their 22nd visit. There was so much great food from breakfast, to our picnic lunch (where you have a choice of a bag lunch, backpack or picnic basket) to a the hors d'oeuvres and then a 4 course dinner. While at dinner they come into your room and turn down your bed and leave chocolates (I am diabetic and they even left sugar free chocolates for me)! The wonderful Dan and Deener who developed this wonderful paradise and shared it with everyone is still there everyday. They know everyone and treat them like family. They sit with everyone, eat meals and socialize and give great facts and the history learned was amazing. If you can, you have to visit this rustic paradise! We can't wait to come back. Everything was wonderful and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Exceeded our expectations in every way! at Oak Hill on Love Lane (Waynesville, North Carolina)

5 reviewed on November 14, 2014

We are frequent travelers. We prefer to stay at a B&B rather than a chain hotel. Oak Hill on Love Lane was one of the nicest B&Bs we have ever enjoyed. The rooms and common areas were spacious, with every amenity carefully provided. The Inn was beautifully decorated but kept its sense of history. The morning sunrise over the treetops was only surpassed by the creative gourmet breakfast awaiting us. The owners provided excellent service and attention to detail. With so much to see in the world, we often don't visit the same place twice; however, we will be back to Oak Hill! There was great dining and so much to see in the area...two nights were just not enough.

Ashley & April's Wedding Weekend at Brookside Mountain Mist Inn (Waynesville, North Carolina)

5 reviewed on November 10, 2014

We had our wedding here this past weekend, and Carolyn and Dina took care of everything for us and it was absolutely amazing. The sanitation grade was 100 and it was so clean and we felt so at home. I usually feel the need to spray everything with Lysol when I stay somewhere, but not here. The food was amazing and we felt right at home and can't wait to go back.

This Bed and Breakfast is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway It is set in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The hoos is maginificent. We had the Bobbu Breeze suite which is enormous. The big four poster bed and the excellent furniture make for a perfect setting. The breakfast in the morning is very special. A small diner in it self.. All in all a superb B and B

Like staying with family at Yellow House On Plott Creek (Waynesville, North Carolina)

5 reviewed on November 03, 2014

First of all we were blown away by how it's set up. It's like your wealthy uncle has given you the keys to his country home and has basically told you to make yourself at home. There were snacks, some homemade cookies, and of course Port wine at our leisure. The main house is pretty neat if you enjoy history and socializing with other guests, if you enjoy privacy then perhaps stay in the windward room as it has a private balcony overlooking one of the ponds. The other guests were a joy to talk with especially during a world class breakfast. My wife and I were 100% satisfied and will stay here again. Great place and very helpful and friendly staff! We are recommending it to all we know!

Just Great at Andon-Reid Inn (Waynesville, North Carolina)

5 reviewed on November 03, 2014

Our third visit since June 2014. Place just gets better each time. Central location to mountain visiting, Waynesville is a delightful town with an unusual array of restaurants worth visiting again and again. The Inn is very comfortable, clean, restful with lots of entertainment if you desire such. I expect we will be back in the spring. If you expect breakfast to be bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy and grits you are in for a very pleasant surprise.

Great place to stay ! at Brookside Mountain Mist Inn (Waynesville, North Carolina)

5 reviewed on November 03, 2014

We, along with two other couples, have met annually, in October, for several years at the Brookside Mountain Mist Inn. Carolyn and Dina have never disappointed ! The rooms are quiet, spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. This is a perfect situation for being with friends: beautiful and spacious yard, wonderful back porch with lots of seating and large living area, complete with fireplace. It is a nice change of pace, coming from Dallas, TX, to enjoy the peaceful setting here !

I booked this Bed and Breakfast as a surprise for my Husband's Birthday. Everything was beyond my expectations. Carolyn and Dina was the best innkeepers. The food was awesome, better than any Bed and Breakfast and we have stayed in many. If you are in this area, I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. You will not be disappointed!!! Outstanding service! at Oak Hill on Love Lane (Waynesville, North Carolina)

5 reviewed on November 01, 2014

We loved everything about our stay at Oak Hill. My husband and I are very laid back and casual so this was quite a step up from our usual. Even so, we felt as if we fit right in. Deb and Shell were both very gracious and helpful, even going so far as to give me a recipe that I really enjoyed. Be sure that you will be very well taken care of and comfortable here. These two really know the meaning of customer service, we will definitely be back!
