Inn at Blackberry Creek

My husband and I attended his companys Christmas Dinner at Whitehouse Crawford, booked the separate private suite at the Blackberry Inn instead of a hotel, to change things up a bit. We were so pleasantly surprised, we have stayed in other B & B's, but they did not even come close to what Barbara offers. Her staff, Sue, was so friendly and gracious during check in, I just knew we were going to have a smooth and enjoyable stay. The room is fabulous, clean, warm and inviting. Fresh baked cookies, farm fresh eggs and all the condiments one needs for fresh lattes in the morning. We chose delivered breakfast in the AM, hot and delicious, on time...we were spoiled. Two person hot tub in private gated area, speciality soaps, class all the way. I cannot brag enough about our stay here!! Thank you ladies, we will be back. Mr. & Mrs. Quaempts

We received our 2 night stay as a gift from our 2 sons...they always research things thoroughly so it was not really a surprise that it was so nice. The rooms were really nice with comfy beds. We appreciated so much how clean everything was. It was heaven laying in bed in the morning..waking up to the smell of breakfast cooking...food was excellent. Inn keeper Barbara Knudson was so helpful when we asked her advise on which wineries to visit . Defiantly will return if we get a chance.It also just happened to be apple harvest time and we were able to pick up boxes of Honey crisp apples on our way home... absolutely the freshest apples we've ever had..right off the tree in Yakima Valley!

This was our 3rd year staying here and we can't imagine staying anywhere else. The rooms are lovely, Sue gracious and the breakfasts amazing.

Blackberry is our favorite place in Walla Walla... planning our next trip already!

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfasts were fantastic. We had a wonderful experience.

The innkeepers were very thoughtful in going above and beyond our expectations: they catered to our vegan diet with a delicious hot breakfast and even made us special vegan cookies; we received the perfect balance of privacy and interaction with others; the physical surroundings (360 degree view of gardens with fountains outside, interior ambiance with background soft music and views into the gardens) left us wondering if we could ever find another place like this at this affordable price in our travels to other destinations...

a lovely place to stay while visiting nearby wineries. convenient to downtown walla walla and its excellent restaurants. breakfasts were delicious and barbara knudson was very friendly and helpful. would stay there again.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was great. Breakfast was delicious too. A very relaxing stay.

This was our first time visiting a B&B and we were extremely pleased. The rooms are beautiful, and have large, updated in-room bathrooms. The amenities are wonderful throughout the house. Pam came in the mornings to create the most fabulous breakfasts! There was plenty of variety and everything was delicious.

Our 2 nights were very special in every way. We would definitely recommend the Inn for a pleasant stay.

Look, I'll be honest, I'm not a B&B guy. I find being in someone else's house uncomfortable, I don't like to chat with other guests at breakfast, and B&B's tend to be too frilly for my taste. But the Inn at Blackberry Creek was, at it's briefest and most concise... Perfect. The owner does not live in the house, so I felt I could be out of my room at night and sit in the sitting room or elsewhere. You can choose your breakfast time, so I could avoid other guests if I so pleased. The decorations were stylish, tasteful, and comfortable. The service, by Sue, was fantastic..happy to be helpful in any way. And there were fresh baked cookies and Ben & Jerry's in the fridge.... what's not to like?! I can't wait to return.

We love staying in the suite with the hot tub on the deck. It was so relaxing. the hospitality was wonderful. We felt very at home and welcome.

We had a great, relaxing stay even in January; it was very quiet, the entire inn was elegant but not stuffy, spotless, and Sue and Barbara made us feel welcome. Breakfast was outstanding and snacks and hot drinks were always available.

We stayed at the Inn during Thanksgiving. It was perfect in everyway. The Innkeeper was so professional, accommodating, friendly, and gave us a warm welcome. The Inn is clean, well-decorated, beautiful inside and out! Our room was so cozy and the bed was comfortable. We didn't want to go home. In fact, this Inn is so great, it feels like you are home away from home! It is not like other Bed and Breakfast Inns! The food is cooked to order and is delicious! Although we stayed a few months ago, we can't stop talking about our experience and look forward to going back again soon. We want to return when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy the lovely gardens in the yard! The amenities in the room are fabulous and there is nothing you may need that is not in the room! Thank you for exceeding out expectations and making our vacation so perfect!!!!

We just spent a lovely weekend at the Backberry Creek Inn. Everything was spotless and the bed perfect. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast and conversation served by Sue!

This is absolutely the best place to stay in Walla Walla. Beautiful, romantic, spacious, fabulous breakfast, private hot tub, incredible service!!!! Need I say more....

Big rooms, king sized bed, free and fast wifi, quiet, outstanding breakfast.

Not only were we warmly welcomed and made comfortable upon arrival but when Barbara showed us the rooms and grounds we were very impressed. Don't miss walking the grounds and picking fresh raspberries! Breakfast outside was unbelievable. You are given a menu with a vast varaities of foods to choose from. Eggs, meats, oatmeal, fruits, even daily specialties are available! Don't miss staying here!

We have stayed at many bed & breakfasts before, but the Inn at Blackberry Creek is fabulous! Attention to detail is unbelievable. Rooms are gorgeous, breakfast "menu", cookies, refrigerator in room with complimentary sodas and water. Barbara is so friendly and helpful! We will not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone.

This lovely inn far exceeded our expectations...and the ambiance is beyond reproach. We would highly recommend this get away...especially if you are looking to get away and doing some wine exploration. This entire area is really beginning to boom.

We had a wonderful stay in Walla, Walla while on a wine tasting trip. The Inn at Blackberry Creek made the whole experience exceptional. I would highly recommend this to anyone without reservation. The hostess was very friendly and gave us alot of great recommendations. We can hardly wait to go back. The previous year we had gone to Napa Valley for the same type of trip and stayed at a bed & breakfast. I actually think this trip to Walla, Walla was as much if not more fun . Highly recommended.

My wife and I were travelling with friends and spent one night in this remarkable home. I'd like to say something about this Inn that hasn't already been written in the other reviews. But words like "fabulous house", "gorgeous grounds", "excellent breakfast", "peaceful", "gracious host", "exceptionally clean", "best B&B", and "romantic" have been used many times. For good reason. If you're going to Walla Walla....why stay anywhere else?

The Inn at Blackberry Creek is a wonderful find. The inn and grounds are beautiful. Our host Barbara bakes fresh cookies everyday and has a cook to order breakfast. The food was great. Barbara was very helpful in providing info about Walla Walla. We will definitely be back!!!

My husband and I spent three days at the Inn at Blackberry Creek in Walla Walla, Washington and found it to be clean, luxurious and affordable. Barbara and her staff were extremely cordial and accommodating to our requests and needs. The gourmet breakfasts were filling and provided variety with a regular supply of snacks throughout the day to keep us happy.

Made us feel right at home without a doubt. We cannot think of one single thing that we would improve upon. Comfort, food, everything was perfect! We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our only regret was that it wasn't for a longer period of time. Thank you Barbara for everything!

Stayed one night there with my partner and wished I could stay five more. It is hard to imagine a better inn. Beautiful, restful, tasteful, quiet, and wonderfully satisfying. Barbara the owner was a gem.

The Inn at Blackberry Creek is absolutely top notch in comfort, quality, & service. Barbara and her staff went out of their way to assure that our stay during the recent Spring Wine Release weekend was totally delightful. The furnishings are beautiful, the linens are satiny smooth, and the breakfasts each morning -- Wow! Already looking forward to a return visit.

I would stay here again and again. Great service and plenty of privacy. Food was great, as were the accommodations. I loved this place!!!

This 1906 home has been beautifully restored and has 3 suites with modern amenities named after impressionists. The staff was gracious and breakfasts delicious and extensive as you need. Luxurious baths, art and antiques everywhere!

Very cosy and welcoming. Weather was not good so we curled up reading books by the fire, enjoying the home baked cookies and hot chocolate. A delightful B and B in a lovely setting.Will come back again!

We stayed at the tastefully restored victorian during a wine tasting excursion to Walla Walla. There were beautiful guest rooms with well appointed private baths. The breakfast was the best surprise. Instead of being served huge portions of fancy overly rich concoctions you choose from a menu of a variety of healthy dishes. i.e. fresh fruit, scrambled eggs with roasted veggies, whole grain english muffins, yogurt to name a few. We hope to visit the wine country again and will certainly stay at the Blackberry again.

We made a last minute trip to Walla Walla and ended up staying at the Inn at Blackberry Creek. What a delightful experience. I loved the friendly welcome from Barbara, our incredible room with private veranda and hot tub and the overall relaxation we found in this wonderful house. The breakfast was delicious, as were the homemade cookies that were way too tempting! I highly recommend this place.

Our two night stay at the Inn at Blackberry Creek was the highlight of our trip. The owner, Barbara, was a delightful person, an excellent cook, and maintained a wonderful B&B. Moderately priced.

The location of this Inn is on a residential street in Walla Walla. There are lots of excellent restaurants nearby, and several wine tasting rooms. This is a beautiful, peaceful, and romatic place to return to with a bottle of new found wine. The breakfasts here are outstanding and worth the stay in themselves!

We have stayed at Barbara's B&B twice now and are very pleased with the entire package. The home is lovely, the grounds, patios, and decks are exceptional. We've stayed in the Cezanne and the Renoir rooms -- loved them both. Barbara offers an exceptional breakfast menu -- each member in our party of 6 ordered different things from the menu and raved about them. My favorites were the Grand Marnier french toast and those lovely mixed - fresh fruit compotes every morning.

Probably the best B & B we've ever stayed in. Very comfortable, clean and great food. However, what made it so special was the innkeeper's ability to make you feel comfortable and at home. Highly recommend it!

We were traveling with another couple and we stayed three nights in the two upstairs rooms. It was the perfect set-up and we agreed that we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else next time we come to Walla Walla. The rooms are really comfortable and lovely. The breakfast was wonderful. Barbara is a wonderful host and the setting was gorgeous. There aren't too many superlatives to describe this place.

This Inn is absolutely beautiful-- setting is ideal and peaceful. The Inn itself is beautifully decorated.

We joined our friends for the first time on their annual wine tasting trip. They've stayed with Barbara at The Inn at Blackberry Creek before and raved about it. We had never stayed at a B&B before so were unsure what to expect. The experience could not have been better. With 6 in our party, we reserved all 3 rooms and had the home to ourselves. The beds and accommocations were very nice and how wonderful to come "home" from a day of touring to be able to sit in the living room. To top it all off, Barbara is the consumate hostess starting each day with a cooked-to-order breakfast with fresh fruit, sweet rolls, quich, etc. We will definitely be back and recommend it highly.

If you are looking for a small, intimate and exclusive spot to stay in Walla Walla, this inn will suit. The grounds and landscaping are a perfect frame for the environment inside, very classy and warm. The staff is helpful and the bedside breakfast is a great touch. Rooms are spacious with great facilities. A repeat visit is a must.

What an outstanding B & B! We arrived after many hours on the road to find a peaceful, quiet retreat All the ameneties were special: big soft bed, cool refreshments in the refrigerator, lovely grounds to walk and explore, restaurant suggestions, and a "fantabulous" breakfast on the deck. The price is right, too.

We enjoyed two wonderful nights at this gorgeous old restored home. Our room was spacious and beautiful with a view of the gardens and pond. The frogs serendaded at night. So many extra amnities were included. The home baked cookies constantly available in the pantry were delicious and a constant temptation. Breakfasts were amazing--truly gourmet offerings to choose from. We were very close to Whitman college and to the downtown area with it's tasting rooms. We would go back in a hearbeat!! Barbara is a very welcoming host and provides a fantastic stay for her guests.

This is a great place! It is VERY well maintained, both inside and out, the breakfast is excellent (with homemade pastries that are to die for!), the linens are top quality, and the atmosphere very relaxing and restful. It couldn't have been better!
