The Green Cape Cod Bed & Breakfast
Nestled in the historic Proctor district in the north end of Tacoma, Washington, this Cape Cod style home was built in 1929. Just seven blocks to the University of Puget Sound campus, we are an easy walk or short drive to everything you may want or need. Even though we are a seven minute drive to downtown Tacoma and access to Interstate 5, and just 36 miles from Seattle, you will feel miles away from the hectic pace you left behind. Whether your trip is for business, to visit friends or family, visiting the University of Puget Sound, a romantic getaway or your vacation, you will feel right at home. After a relaxing night at The Green Cape Cod, you will enjoy a sumptuous breakfast to begin your day, off to a meeting or interview, working out or swimming at the downtown YMCA, dining along the waterfront of Commencement Bay, visiting Mt. Rainier, touring the nearby Tacoma Art Museum and Washington State, History Museum, riding a ferry to nearby Vashon Island. From the Seattle/Tacoma International Airport, follow Interstate 5 south to Tacoma. Take exit #133 (City Center), which is immediately past the Tacoma Dome. Follow signs to Schuster Parkway/Interstate 705 North. Proceed approx. one mile, and take the North 30th Street/Old Town exit. Drive up the 30th Street hill to Warner Street. Turn left on Warner. Continue 2.5 blocks to the Green Cape Cod style house on the left with Adirondack chairs on the porch. - Nearest major airport: Seattle, WA (SEA-Seattle Tacoma) 36 miles
