My wife and I visited Red Caboose last fall. We were blown away by Olaf the friendly conductor who showed us around the rail yard. Everything is authentically restored. The breakfast was the quality dining of years gone by, candle lit breakfast table and lots of wonderful breakfast surprises, delicious! I loved the wild west Caboose, I think next time we will stay in the Orient Express. Thanks Olaf and Charlotte

We see the RCG is for sale, sad day. If you get a chance to have Olaf and his wife host your stay, please do so. We stayed a few years ago, it is an experience we tell all our friends, a memory we talk about all the time and will never forget.
Thank you for your kind review. While we have immensely enjoyed building our place and entertaining our guests( friends) the last 15 years it's gotten more than this 71 year old can handle. it's time to turn the throttle over to new hands. Stationmaster Olaf

Sleeping on a vintage caboose should be on everyone's Bucket List especially if it is in wonderful Sequim, WA! Olaf and Charlotte are commended for making our 2 night stay a special memory. I will recommend Red Caboose Getaway to all who find themselves in the Pacific NW.

The caboose was such a delight to stay in, the bed was cozy, the fireplace on created a romantic atmosphere, and the soaker tub for 2 was so relaxing I found myself falling asleep. The breakfasts are the most amazing breakfasts we have ever had, you will leave so full you will end up back in your caboose for a little rest to try to digest!! Charlotte and Olaf went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, catering to dietary restrictions, and providing delicious fruit grown in their orchard in our room!

The Red Caboose Getaway was a great place to celebrate our anniversary. Stayed in the Lavender caboose, the tub was heavenly.. The breakfast made by our hosts was to live another day for, very delicious, took into account our needs, would recommend for a getaway, that's different..

The accommodation was over the top, but the innkeepers and the quality of the breakfasts was just way over the top. Great stay, and we would recommend to anyone looking for a very different stay in Sequim.

We read about the Red Caboose Getaway in Sunset Magazine so we decided to spend a night. What a great experience and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting an unique place to stay. We want to return to the Red Caboose Getaway and bring our bikes to ride the Olympic Discovery Trail nearby.
