Everything about this B&B is warm and inviting, and you are pampered from the moment of arrival. The location is secluded and beautiful and just a few miles from the main highway (101). Recommend for adults, for a romantic getaway or just a lovely and relaxing base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. The inn's staff are friendly, kind, and dedicated to making your stay wonderful.

The innkeeper and staff are among the kindest and most hospitable anywhere. When we had a car problem, they drove us into Sequim and back as though they had nothing more important to do .... We stayed in the Moonbeam room with vaulted ceilings and skylights. The place is beautiful from every angle, the room spacious and exceedingly comfortable. Food was wonderful, something different every day. Complimentary coffee, tea, and soft drinks were available any time of day or night. Just one beautiful detail after the other had been considered and provided. I would highly recommend this beautiful and romantic inn as probably best for mature travelers, not really so much for small children.

Everything was perfect, from the greeting to the check out. The property is spectacular and private. The rooms, amenities and food service all above expectation. You will not be disappointed.

The lodge is located a few minutes from downtown Sequim on a large lot in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed in the Sunny View Suite which was spacious, as was the rest of the main lodge. The room was extremely clean and everything worked. We were the only guests during our stay so we also spent a lot of time in common area in front of the fire place and on the deck. We felt extremely comfortable throughout our stay. But as others have mentioned the staff at LML were some of the most welcoming and knowledgeable hosts we have ever met. We were in the area scouting various OP towns for possible retirement areas and Dwight, Sally and Kathy could not have been more helpful. Dwight is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to OP business, recreation and history. The dining staff were just as sweet and helpful as they served us our hearty breakfasts and snacks. We intend to visit Sequim again and will not consider any other accommodations.

We had a wonderful stay in the Lost Mountain Lodge. The customer care was outstanding. Dwight, the owner, made a point to text us to make sure he or staff would be present upon our arrival. Cathy was very helpful and accommodating with setting us up in our rooms and giving us very good information on hikes, activities, and places of interest nearby. She also gave us really good recommendations on restaurants in the area. We stayed in the Moonbeam Suite which was a wonderful room with lots of space. The fireplace was a very nice touch and the bedding and bathroom was set up very nicely. Our breakfast was amazing and the breakfast staff was very helpful. The staff provided some very nice cookies that were made on site. Dwight took time to visit with us and give us lots of up to date info on local hikes and sites, including those that were not available due to poor road conditions. It is evident that he takes special interest in his guests which we appreciated. We loved the hot-tub and the surroundings around the lodge. If we had more time we would have walked the 10 acres that surround the property. Our stay was very quiet and peaceful. So this would be a great place for someone wishing to for a place to clear their head or for some much needed quiet. I highly recommend this BB and plan on coming back soon.

We recently "escaped" the typical city New Year's festivities for a quiet weekend away, close to home. We could not have been more thrilled with the grounds and the Guest House. There was ample space for four people and everything we needed was available. Dwight was welcoming, friendly and extremely informative. We would all recommend Lost Mountain Lodge to anyone and will definitely be returning! (Note: We did not utilize the onsite dining but since a Not Applicable is not available I included 5 stars, the lemon lavender cookies definitely earned 5 stars.)

Great experience overall. The lodge is a 30 min drive to Olympic national park. Beautiful grounds, very nice room. However, the lack of an updated alarm clock/radio which was blue tooth/USB/iPhone capability prevented us from listening to our favorite playlist/pandora. Breakfast both days taste great, but not very healthy...mostly baked sweets or fresh fruit sprinkled with sugar and mixed with whipcream. For those who enjoy hiking, I do recommend packed lunch offered for an addition price. The luch was made with our choice of healthy ingredients, it was conveinient and delicious.

Very personal welcome, great introduction into area and very useful sightseeing tips. Great jacuzzi with awesome view of garden and forest. Great breakfast.
Thank you for staying with us and your kind comments. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay here at Lost Mountain Lodge. We do hope when your travels bring you back to the Olympic Peninsula you will let us be your host again. Kathy

This is a lovely B&B in a beautiful setting. The people were unfailingly helpful and friendly. The owner went out of his way to greet us and draw us detailed maps and give us spot-on recommendations for where to eat and what to see and how to get there! Our room was spacious and private. The breakfasts were a little on the sugary side, but that is a very minor thing.
Thank you for sharing your experience here at Lost Mountain Lodge. I have shared your comments with our chef and Dwight. We value your comments and again thank you for staying with us. Please come back again! Kathy

In town for High School reunion had a lovely stay at Lost Mountain Lodge. Love that the staff is so friendly and gladly accommodates some "challenging" food allergies with grace and FANTASTIC food. We will be back again!!

My husband and I spent 3 wonderful nights at this very special place in the pines and cedars. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. Our cottage was presented so beautifully and every detail was perfect. Especially the lemon lavender cookies at bedtime. Being centrally located, yet very private, made all of the Olympic Peninsula very accessible. We both highly recommend Lost Mountain Lodge.

My husband and I had a wonderful time. If you are in the mood for a nice relaxing holiday, I recommend going during the colder months--the town is very quiet and serene. I think we will be going back during late Spring or Summer so we can enjoy the surrounding walking trails and outdoor events. The B&B itself is a wonderful experience. A beautiful home with all the amenities one needs. We stayed in a lodge room and it was extremely roomy, private, and comfortable. The private fireplace and sitting area was a definite plus. The owners were extremely friendly and caring; they were obviously interested in making our stay one to remember.

What can be said about Lost Mountain Lodge? This place is truly amazing. My wife and I arrived around 630 and was greeted by Dwight and his beautiful wife. We were given a tour of the house and shown our room where the staff put rose petals and chocolate covered strawberries in our world as I had requested. Making arrival that much better for my wife. i had explained to Dwight that my wife was vegetarian and he informed me that it would be no problem and that the chef would ensure that she had a vegetarian breakfast every morning. Which she did. Our room was huge, comfortable, and relaxing. I couldn't think of a better way to spend this weekend. The question of whether or not I might go back doesn't even exist. The fact that I will be back is a fact.

My wife and I came here for our 5-year anniversary. My wife has always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast. I'd hoped to find somewhere nice and quiet with quality service and that "close to nature" feel. We couldn't have been happier. Dwight met us outside (we were a little early) and immediately began to help us amidst my wife's constant marveling. He went out of his way all weekend to be as helpful as possible. The room was amazing - the moment we walked in there was a relaxing scent that never left. Every day there was a special treat left in the room (if you get to try the lavender/lemon cookies, they are wonderful). The breakfasts were so delicious, we were always sad when they were too filling to finish. And with the fresh mountain air and a property surrounded by woods, we almost forgot we weren't somewhere deeper in the Olympics. My wife spent the whole weekend in awe of the Lodge. We loved it so much we barely spent any time in town (though Sequim has a great small-town feel). Needless to say, we will be back again. Chris

The Lost Mountain Lodge, in our experience, ranks with some of the top hotels in North America. Our room was large, very comfortable, quiet and very well appointed. The breakfasts were worthy of a spread in Gourmet Magazine and the customer service was top drawer. The location is very pleasant and within easy reach from most anywhere in the Puget Sound area.

Lost Mt. Lodge is simply a magical place. Tucked in the forest of a quiet hillside, the Lodge offers an elegant retreat for all ages. The host, Dwight, is delightful and takes a personal interest in each individual guest. And Kyle...the sweetest pup, will escort you from your vehicle to the front door. My friends and I stayed in the cottage, complete with a full kitchen. The accommodations became a 'home' vice just a hotel room. The location of the Lodge is perfect for touring the amazing sights in the region as well as a remaining convenient for the required return trip via Sea-Tac airport. Lost Mountain Lodge is a beautiful B&B - savor the experience!

On arrival at the lodge, we were met by Dwight, who was a wealth of information. He had maps and local insight to assist with our touring plans -- the spot he recommended to see the sunset gave us one of the most spectacular views imaginable. Dwight's restaurant recommendations were also very appreciated and memorable. The lodge is cozy and clean with lots of amenities. Breakfasts were huge and delicious. We purchased a picnic lunch from the Lodge to avoid having to leave the park during our day of exploration -- it was wonderful!
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. We appreciate your kind comments and do hope you will let us be your host again. Take care, Kathy

The rooms, facilities and breakfast exceeded all our expectations. Everything was absolutely perfect. We especially enjoyed the overview by the owner of the local area including great places to eat, special locations to view wonderful sunsets and key information about Olympic National Parks. The rooms are large and the surrounding 10 acres ensure peace and quite! It was the perfect setting for a perfect vacation. We are already planning our next stay at Lost Mountain Resort!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Couple of details I'd want others to know: the two rooms advertised as detached "cottages" are not in fact detached but two parts of one large house. These rooms come at a premium cost and although we enjoyed our stay very much, I don't know that I would recommend that anyone pay $400/night for part of a house where you have to walk by someone else's front door and windows every time you go in & out. That said, I would want future visitors to know that there is FABULOUS dining in Sequim - we ate the most delicious food when we were there!

This B & B is tucked in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains. Serene with two ponds, surrounded by trees. I enjoy my piracy and my quiet and I got both. Dwight was a wonderful guide. Every place he steered us toward turned out to be wonderful. Restaurants, lavender farms, and the incredible Hurricane Ridge with it's awesome views of the Olympic range up close. We fell in love with this area and will return to Lost Mountain Lodge as soon as we can.

Our two day stay at the Lost Mountain Lodge was beyond our expectations. The room was large, very clean and well appointed. We loved the location, close to the cutel small town of Sequim and an hour from Crescent Lake and the Sol Duc hot springs. We were able to hike in old growth forest and dine in the wonderful old Crescent Lake lodge, then come back to our suite at the Lost Mt. Lodge where we brought in our dinner and ate on the lovely back patio!

We were impressed with the decor, the quiet, the beauty and the wonderful staff at Lost Mountain Lodge. It feels like you are "lost in the mountains" yet you are so close to so many activities including a ferry to Victoria. We will definitely return for another stay.

Lost Mountain Lodge exceeded our expectations. Sitting on the deck in the cool early morning with a cup of fresh coffee listening to the birds as they were getting busy with their day was fantastic. The breakfasts were terrific, what a great start to one's day. Obviously, one must venture to Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park, what a eye popping experience. Back at Lost Mountain Lodge after a day of experiencing the different facets of the peninsula, we enjoyed a wonder room and able to enjoy the patio as the evening approached.

The location could not be better for you if you want to visit the north peninsula anywhere from The End of the World to Third Beach to Hurricane to Pt Townsend to Sequim and Lk Crescent. If you come for the Lavender, this is definitely your spot. Quiet, calm, gorgeous secluded setting close to the cute shops and restaurants in Sequim. Lots of ways to get therefom Seattle or Sea Tac in just a couple of hours, with or without ferry ride. Hostand staff (Including Kaia!!!!!) are warm, professional and know just how to make you feel welcomed and point you to all the best places without intruding. You have plenty of privacy and al of Patricia's incredible cooking (ask her to make her panna cotta with fresh local seasonal fruit!) You cannot go wrong here. We cant wait to go back.

We had a wonderful time at the Lost Mountain Lodge. Dwight's hospitality and attention to detail are enough to warrant staying here. He immediately gave us a detailed explanation of the sights, activities and history of the Sequim area. The house is gorgeous, the grounds are beautiful, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the food is delicious and there are too many small details to list. We highly recommend staying at the Lost Mountain Lodge.

My husband and I booked our rooms at Lost Mountain Lodge because we wanted a close get away and a convienent place to stay while we visited with friends in Sequim. This was a wonderful getaway. Only slightly off the beaten path, yet you feel like you are miles away from it all. We stayed in the Creekside room and LOVED it. The bed was awsome - the double steam shower divine and the breakfasts were out of this world. Hats off to the cook as she took our food allergies and made it spectacular (glueten free, allergic to egg and all dairy including cheese - a real challenge for breakfast fare)

We had a terrific vacation at Lost Mountain Lodge last week. The breakfasts that Grace prepared were unbelievably good. The Moonbeam room that we stayed in was charming and so beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the help that Dwight gave us in getting settled and seeing the options for seeing the area.

This last weekend we celebrated our 22nd anniversary at the Lost Mountain Lodge. These folks are hospitality. Attentive to detail, they are incredibly good at what they do - which is to make you feel like an honored guest. We always get the Creekside room in the main lodge. Romantic, warm, secluded, quiet, and open to the main common area, including the kitchen. Breakfast is always a wonderful culinary surprise. We could stay in less expensive digs, but we choose the LML because it is what a vacation is supposed to be. Thank you, Lost Mountain Lodge, for making our 22nd anniversary something special. - Bal Simon, Bellevue, WA

We stayed in the Hideaway and it was absolutely gorgeous. Service was excellent; they were accommodating and let you have your privacy. Dwight and Lisa were very helpful, friendly, and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. They definitely succeeded! We'd love to stay there again. This place is worth every penny!

This was our first trip to the Olympic Peninsula and we had a wonderful time. Lisa and Dwight are fantastic hosts with a found of information concerning the places to visit in the area. What they have given to the property is amazing. If you are looking for privacy and romance this is your place. We stayed 4 nights in the Guest House, which is really a beautiful home. The surroundings are so private. Side porch with a new grill and seating, also a back porch with seating and a hot tub. Great after a day of hiking the nearby trails in the Olympic National Park. Very comfortable King bed, full size kitchen with every kitchen utensil imaginable. We enjoyed sitting in the porch swing overlooking the private little Quail Lake . If you are a nature lover, you will adore this place. We would highly recommend staying here for a quiet and romantic getaway.

If you want to be pampered, surrounded with elegantly appointed accommodations, and served delicious breakfasts, Lost Mountain Lodge will more than satisfy. My husband and I spent three days at Lost Mountain Lodge in June. As we drove into the lovely landscaped grounds late in the afternoon, deer nibbling the grasses at the edge of the lawn, a bald eagle perched in a tree overlooking the ponds behind the house, a sense of peace and quiet enveloped us. Greeted with wine, fresh fruit, crackers, and a delicious cheese and artichoke spread we relaxed in our meticulously appointed room. We were on a working vacation and needed an extra table and chairs for our computers. They were quickly delivered to the room. The interior spaces of Lost Mountain Lodge radiate discreet elegance and exacting taste whether in the common areas or the bedroom. Lisa was extremely helpful in suggesting scenic areas to visit. Either she or one of the staff made dinner reservations for us each night at exceptional restaurants in Sequim that Lisa recommended. Breakfasts at Lost Mountain Lodge were culinary delights made and served by the friendly and helpful staff. Each evening we spent time in the spa hot tub located on one of the decks overlooking the ponds and woods. We had all the privacy we desired. Three days were too short a time. We have already highly recommended this bed and breakfast to friends. Thank you Lisa and staff for an outstanding stay. LS, NYC

Over the years I have stayed in many B&Bs, but my Lost Mountain Lodge experience will be remembered as the most beautiful, serene, tranquil and relaxing of all. Everywhere you turn, there is a beautiful view of ponds, trees, flowers and wildlife. Every amenity - soft bedding, relaxing baths, romantic fireplaces, beautiful furnishings - added to the comfort of my stay and were impeccable. All of this was enhanced by the graciousness and talents of the host & hostess and staff. From their suggestions of great things to do (hikes, picnics, waterfalls, side-trips) to the scrumptious nightly treats and gourmet breakfasts - all 4 days went by way too fast and I wanted to stay longer! And all that pampering makes me want to go back again (after seeing several of their beautiful suites and cottages, it will be hard to decide which one to stay in next!). I can see why you have received so many awards and accolades. Thank you Lisa and Dwight for a wonderful experience!

We have stayed in every suite at Lost Mountain Lodge and absolutely loved them all! The innkeepers have class which is displayed in the suites and is experienced throughout your stay. This is a wonderful place to get lost with that special someone or for families to get away for some R&R. Everything was divine, so much so it has become our special tradition. We can assure you from the time you arrive until you depart you will be well cared for. The only disapointment was leaving.
