The Shepherd's Inn Bed & Breakfast

Inn is perfectly located between Mount St Helens and Mount Rainier (on scenic Hwy 12) for leisure day trips and sight seeing. Host are native to the area and a great source for travel tips. Sixty plus acres of wildlife habitat. Great for birding, stargazing and enjoying nature.
In the spring and summer you will be lulled to sleep by the FROG POND OPERA and wake to the BIRD SONGS SONATA.

From I-5 take exit #68. Go east on hwy 12 for 13 1/2 miles.
Turn right on Fischer Road. Go 1/2 mile and turn left onto Autumn Heights Dr. Go 1/2 mile to the end of the road.
From Mt. St Helens follow SR 505 to Toledo. Continue aprox. one mile to Jackson Hwy. Follow Jackson Hwy to Spencer Rd. Follow Spencer Rd 9 miles to Fuller Rd. Turn left onto Fuller Rd. Go one mile to Hwy 12 at Salkum. Turn right onto Hwy 12 and go one mile to Fischer Rd.
From Mt. Rainier. Travel to Morton on Hwy #7 or Hwy 12. Go west on Hwy 12 for 17 miles to Fischer Road. Turn left on
Fischer Road and go 1/2 mile to Autumn Heights Drive. Turn left onto Autumn Heights Drive and go 1/2 mile to the end of the road. - Nearest major airport: Seattle, WA (SEA-Seattle Tacoma) 81 miles

We are half way between both SEA-TAC and Portland PDX airports. Our preferecnce is PDX as it is easier to get in and out of. In both cases follow the directions from the airport to I-5. From SEA-TAC go south to exit #68.
From Portland go north on I-5 to exit #68. then go east on hwy 12 for 13 1/2 miles to Fischer Road. Turn right on Fisher Road and follow 1/2 mile to Autumn Heights Drive.
Turn left onto Autumn Heights Drive and follow 1/2 mile to the end of the road.

Huckleberries grow wild between 4,000 and 5,000 feet and are hand picked. A gourmet treat any way they are served.
The receipe is on our web site for the crepes and the preperation of the fillin. We can adapt the receipe for all kinds of special or restricted diets.
Policies
- Minimum stay required (2 night minimum on weekends from June through Sept. unless a cancellation occurs)
- Smoking is not allowed
- We cannot accommodate guest pets
- Children are welcome (call for details / must be supervised at all times)
- No childcare is provided
- Consumption of alcohol is not permitted
- Deposit amount required (Reservation can be held on a credit card #)
- Check in time is after 3:00 and Check out time is 11:30 Mon - Sat
- Cancellations:
Three days notice is required without a charge unless the room is rebooked. However no charge will be made to your card unless we have turned away someone because the room was reserved in your name.
