She sold The James House in November 2009, but continues to operate A Bungalow & Hideaway as private getaways. Leaving her earlier professional career in Occupational Therapy and later career in Hospital Administration behind, she is very active in the community. She helped start Jefferson County Community, of which she is still an active board member.

    The Hideaway offers a comfortable seating area overlooking Port Townsend Bay. A great place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail!From your comfortable chair, you can see all the boats coming and going into Port Townsend bay. You won't want to leave!
