If you enjoy relaxation with ‘a touch of class’, the Five SeaSuns is the place for you. It is a surprisingly quiet and peaceful oasis in the heart of the city, a treat for the eyes on the inside and a gardener’s Eden outside. You will feel special from the warm welcome upon your arrival through an epicurean breakfast followed by infallible advice on your activities during your stay. A place not to be missed! Here's what Dave and Sandy from Dayton, OH, had to say about their visit to Five SeaSuns. "Things we loved about the Five SeaSuns: The warm personalities of Jan and Bob--The charming decor--The amazing breakfasts--The COOKIES!--The excellent advice about places to see and places to eat--The beautiful gardens--The "to-go" brunches--The personal taxi service to the ferry... We loved our visit to Olympic National Park. The hikes were all fantastic from mountains to rainforest to seashore!"
The balcony offers a panoramic water view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Victoria, B.C. and Mt. Baker. A cozy room with private bath that offers comfort on a budget
The deep old-fashioned soaking tub in the private bath offers the perfect end to the day. Enjoy the fragrance of the rose garden below your window as you watch the ships go by on the Strait of Juan de Fuca with Victoria, B.C. in the background. Turn of the century furnishing add to the charm and feel of an autumn day.
Watch the flickering firelight from the seetee or snuggled under the down comforter on the antique brass bed. In the summertime the waterfalls in garden outside your window will lull you sleep and greet you in the morning. What a wonderful place to escape from the everyday world.
Zomer is in a world by itself. Separate from the rest of the guestrooms on the main floor of the inn, you can enjoy the gardens from the bay window and private porch. Early morning coffee delivered to your room on a silver tray to be enjoyed with the fragance of the garden. What a way to start your day! For those cooler winter days, the fireplace and jacuzzi tub await.
The carriage house is ideal for a weekend or a week. Complete with TV/VCR, overstuffed recliner and even a kitchen to fix yourself a snack. The balcony has a glorious view of the Olympic Mountains and looks down on the award winning gardens here at the inn. The garden view from the livingroom is picture perfect. A real retreat!

Jan and Bob were warm, kind, and inviting hosts. They artfully prepared the most delicious breakfasts, and left warm yummy cookies on the counter each day. What a welcome sight after hiking around the Olympic peninsula. The gardens are a delight to sit in with a lovely waterfall pond and plenty of covered patios. It was fun to meet travelers from all over the world and share travel stories

Five SeaSuns was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting Olympic National Park and everything else in the Port Angeles area. The hosts were very helpful on the best times (info on tide times; able to check the webcam to see if Hurricane Ridge was clear and worth visiting) and best places (no food at a lodge we were headed for, but a great deli to obtain goodies for a great picnic) to visit. The breakfast was incredible - the reviews about the great food are all true!! One thing to consider: If you need a regular shower, you need to ask if they have a room with one. We struggled to use the hand sprayer in the tub without getting water all over the bathroom. However, if you like a comfy bath, the bathtub is very inviting. I would definitely consider another trip to the Olympic Penninsula, and would definitely stay here. I'm convinced that it is the best B&B value in the area.

Jan and Bob are warm, welcoming hosts who serve a gourmet breakfast and provide clean and comfortable accomodations. We enjoyed our stay and the interaction with other guests both over tea and cookies in the evening and at breakfast. The "Summer" room didn't have a lot of space in which to spread out, but it was charming. The room was beautifully furnished, had a comfortable bed and the European style bathroom with whirlpool tub and hand held shower was relaxing and fun. We should have taken Bob's suggestion and planned at least another day on the Olympic Penninsula. Our one day visit was too brief. We would be happy to return here again.

My wife and I are from the UK and we were driving from San Francisco to Seattle. Port Angeles was a good choice to stay the night - with Olympic Park nearby and the ferry from Bainbridge Island to Seattle awaiting us the next day. The Five SeaSuns has wonderful decor, great cookies awaiting our return from an evening out, great restaurant recommendations, and a beautifully presented (and tasty) breakfast.

Besides the great hospitality, warm chocolate chip cookies, beautiful rooms, and comfortable living room, there was a very special garden with many unique specimens. If you love flowers and trees, you must stop at this great B and B. You are treated like kings and queens.

Nice house and hosts were very good about providing local information and providing a ride to the Victoria shuttle. Food was great. Would definately stay here again on a return visit.
