PRR Review

Pros: Greeted upon arrival and told about history of ranch and shown cabin. Cabin was very clean and inviting. Rainy day but we enjoyed wondering around a large barn (used for weddings) and walking to a small creek. Cons: We brought enough snack food for dinner on first night. The small fridge had frozen all the food. Found we had no knives, glasses, coffee cups, plates... Found three spoons and a wine opener. Had to slice cheese with a spoon. TV didn't work. Called the office and the owners were unavailable. A lady tried to walk us thru the TV but no go. The next morning, upon making coffee, I remembered we had no coffee cups. Thankfully I had a Starbucks mug in my car. My husband drank his morning joe out of a small bowl that held micro popcorn. Around 9:00 our breakfast was delivered. The young gal didn't introduce herself, but I assumed she was the other owner. I told her they had forgotten to stock the kitchenette and she just looked at me and said everything we need is on the breakfast tray she just brought. I tried to explain that we needed things before this but ...Whatever. We still didn't have a cheese knife, glasses...but we now had coffee cups! I asked about not getting the advertised WIFI and she said it only works in the main house. Told her about the TV and they realized it really didn't work and had to change out a box. So we had news by the second night. The Ranch advertised "quiet". Not sure how that can be as it is really close to the highway 207. They were, unfortunately for us, also removing a very large tree not far from our cabin. I was planning on letting them know about our concerns upon check out - but there was no one there to check out with. I called their office number and a lady said just leave the key outside the door. We will not be recommending this place or returning. Maybe the owners are new and haven't quite got it down yet?? Quite surprised at all the 5 star reviews.

Beautiful place and wonderful people

We stayed here for our hunnymoon ans had a wonderful relaxing time which is just what we needed after all the stress of the wedding! Owners were full of facts and information as,well as being very nice! We will be coming back to walk along the river and exploring the barn!

We didn't know what to expect...

5 on April 29, 2015

This was our first time trying a B&B, so neither my fiance or I knew what to expect really when we got there. However, we were warmly greeted upon arrival and shown to our cabin. The inside of the suite was amazing and so inviting. We did have some issue with the jets in the tub, but I attribute that more to operator error than anything! Breakfast each morning was delicious and definitely filled us up. The property itself was beautiful, even if the weather didn't want to cooperate. We spent a few hours walking around and exploring the grounds. I can only imagine what the place must look like in the summer when the flowers start to bloom! We are already looking forward to our next trip out and were reluctant to leave for the real world after our weekend away!

Peaceful Getaway!

We just returned from our second stay at Pine River Ranch. This place is the best! They think of everything, and it is so spotless! The grounds are gorgeous, and it is a lovely place to relax and unwind. Did I mention how amazing the breakfast was! The owners are very friendly, and accomodating. We will be returning atleast once a year!

The ranch is adorable: the staff are very helpful, the nature is magnificent, and the suite (Ponderosa) is unique! I especially liked the hand-made bed (made from pine). I wish I had this bed at my home :) Everything here is done for comfort and pleasure. Thank you very much!

Winter Getaway

4.2 on February 24, 2015

My husband and I reserved the Natapoc room for our anniversary and we had so much fun. The land is beautiful, with the mountains, hills, and trees all around. It's removed from Leavenworth, so the area is wonderfully solitary, but not too far to make going into Leavenworth for wine tasting and lunch difficult. The room was great, the owners were so nice, breakfast was delicious (and there's lots of it!). All around, the Pine River Ranch helped us have a great vacation.

Relaxing night inn (get it??)

The rooms are beautiful! Big, comfy bed and a nice warm jacuzzi. The aesthetic of the buildings from the outside leaves a little bit to be desired...but we're not picky and you can't beat the natural setting. We didn't leave the comfort of the room once the whole time we were there (the snowy setting made this quite convenient). Overall...a really great night away! :)
