    This was such a wonderful get away and the hostess was absolutely lovely! The rooms were wonderful and the breakfast was amazing! We also spent the evening in the beautifully decorated games room playing pool and tasting wine. Was a lovely stay in Levenworth and I will be going back for sure!

    Heater in room was broken day we arrived, but hostess was very accommodating in getting us another heater and additional blankets.Used a groupon for stay.

    If you are not used to the personality of owner/staff for a B&B, first time is a little abrupt. They are not sitting behind a check-in desk all day waiting for guest to show up. The check-in location (Orchard House) was hard to locate and you will need to have passenger call for directions or pull over and be ready to get directions. We stayed at the River House, which is closer to town, in January and it was beautiful. We stayed in the Rose Suite. My wife LOVED the comfort of the bed. If you have trouble getting into high beds, be warned that you will need to figure this one out. Unless you are seven foot tall, you will not be able to just sit down like a normal bed. The floor was heated, which was very nice. The walk to town will be uphill, but Leavenworth is about walking around, so this should not be a burden to you. Much better to leave your car at the B&B then to try and find parking among the shops. I would recommend staying here, just get through the check-in process. Maybe it was just a small hassle for me. One in a hundred? One is a thousand? (RING THE DOORBELL, do not just walk in, it is someone's home.)

    Maribeth welcomed us at the Orchard House, but we stayed in town at the River House. The River House is beautiful, very, very quiet. But also very close to downtown Leavenworth. I would love to see it in the spring or fall also. The pastries and coffee waiting for us in the morning made for a wonderful way to start our day.
