If you like flowers, this is the place to stay. Everything was beautiful and very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed alot longer. The two course breakfast was terrific. Service was great. Our king size room was just right and the delicious cookies in the evening were to die for. If you are looking for comfort this is the place to go.Sitting on the front porch was very relaxing.

    A Wonderful Sanity Break!

My husband and I escaped to the Wild Iris for a much needed sanity break. Our visit was a last minute booking for one night only. Lori and Steve were great. The room was wonderfully "gender neutral". Too many BandBs and other small inns are way over-the-top cutsie-poo busy. The room we had was decorated in shades of bronze, cream and black. My husband and I soaked ourselves back to some semblance of sanity in the room's big two person jetted tub. We also ordered the wine and cheese package for supper that night - fed each other grapes, sipped on the very fine white wine while we soaked in the tub. How decadent! The bed was cozy and we fell into bed and slept till morning. The only "problem", over which the innkeepers had no control was the weather that night. It was very blustery and the wind howled like we were in the Wizard of Oz.....wondering if the entire place was being flown off to Oz. But, hey, we were there for a much needed break from a very insane week. We'll be back the next time we're in La Conner, WA. Our breakfast was super. It was so good I didn't really feel a need to eat the rest of the day!

My wife and I absolutely love this place. The owners are very sweet, we feel like family. We got totally spoiled there.
