Waterfront Inn

Thanks for getting us in to a great room. We were upgraded to the Admirals suite. Nice, comfortable and private with a relaxing view. Well maintained and the innkeepers were very warm and welcoming.

We stayed at the B&B for the first time in the Boat House. It was an amazing room! It has a great view of the Harbor. In the Summer time you could sit out in the patio or deck and enjoy the view. The Owners where very nice and walked us through the B&B to our room instead of going to the outside entrance due all the ice and snow since the driveway is very steep. The owners where very informative on all the dining around the area and new what was open since alot of places were closed due to weather. I would definitely come back again!

We have stayed here twice and both times have had unusual circumstances yet they worked with us to accomodate us. We love The Waterfront Inn and it is becoming our go to location when we need a get away but don't have time to go far!

Had a great anniversary stay. Quiet, peaceful, overlooking the harbor on a snowy morning. Helpful hosts and comfortable stay. I highly recommend.

Delightful. quiet, and oh so restful. We were a little concerned to see a smoke detector disabled without its battery. Good electronics on site for whatever you want.

The room is very warm. We had a really nice stay that is the only thing that I would change and maybe consider changing the check out time to noon.

My wife and I had a wonderful time during our stay. It is a great place for a quiet and private weekend getaway. It's only minutes away from shopping and restaurants and has an amazing view of the harbor. It made me think of being in an old new england fishing village. The owners gave us plenty of privacy and were very pleasant when we did get to meet them. Overall a great little B&B.

We were very pleased with our stay. Even before we arrived, Sue made a special effort to describe how some rooms might be harder for my husband to access and recommended The Lookout room, which proved to be perfect. The common area the two upper rooms shared was lovely and well-provided with everything one could need and more. The breakfast was very nice--more than plenty for us. My only problem was with the parking, which was not easy and a little scary for me. But I would definitely come back and luxuriate again in this very welcoming place.

Wow, very nice place, wasnt sure we could get a room on short notice, but got a phone call a short time later, view was amazing even on a dreary day. But the Breakfast was truly the bomb. was expecting that...not to that level... Thank you so much will tell our friends and family...

Even in rainy season here Puget Sound, a harbor seal or a blue heron welcomes you in front of this pleasant Inn.

I was very pleased with the room I had. Very spacious, nice harbor view and a nice sitting area by the fireplace. The room was attached to a shared living room and dining area with mini kitchen. I wish I could have stayed longer. Steve and Janis really cared about our comfort. I liked that it had a nice sitting area on the dock. It was outside of the historic downtown so it was quiet and a nice area for walking. Thank you for the great stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Waterfront Inn. The view from the Crow's Nest was outstanding and I would go back there again. I thought the price was a little high especially for mid-October. The B&B managers were very accommodating. Gayle-Vancouver WA

I recently stayed for three nights while my hardwood floors were being repaired and refinished. I arrived late in the evening. It was dark and the night was rainy and blustery. Susan and Gary welcomed me at my car and helped me carry my belongings to my room. The local classical music radio station was playing lovely relaxing music and the room was warm and cozy. I awoke each morning to a beautiful view of the harbor, wildlife, and a lovely thoughtful continental breakfast. I had a wonderful three night stay. Thank you to Sue and Gary for everything!

The Inn is lovely, and the location amazing. We enjoyed most of stay. The notable exception being the night the fire alarm started beeping at 2PM and kept us awake all night! The casual "sorry" about this from our hosts didn't convey any concern about what the awful, sleepless night we spent.

Beautiful views of harbor and boats as well as herons and the family of seals were right outside our door. This was a very nice place.

Very clean, right on the water. Cozy fireplace. Felt private and romantic.

We enjoyed sitting on the dock in the sun, watching the birds and seals in and around the harbor. Disappointing was a common area inside the house where we could sit and visit with other guests. Breakfast was adequate, a continental breakfast, but most other B&B's we've stayed in have a wonderful hot, cooked breakfast to be shared at communal tables. The innkeepers, Gary and Sue, were very friendly and nice. It is a walkable distance to Downtown, a leisurely stroll of 1 mile to the shops and restaurants.

This was our 2nd return visit to the Waterfront Inn in Gig Harbor. We love this place. Very quiet, affordable, fantastic views and easy walking distance to shops/dining.... We will be back! -Vancouver, WA

The breakfast was somewhat less than I would have expected. However, the room and the setting and the hospitality were great. i would definitely return.

We had a pleasant weekend in Gig Harbor. We were looking for a B&B near the wedding event that we attended. We found the Waterfront Inn in Gig Harbor and had a most pleasant stay. Sue and Gary were very attentive and provided wonderful hospitality and respect. The breakfast was more continental but substantial. The view from the deck overlooking the harbor was wonderful. I would suggest that they consider an afternoon wine and cheese, etc hors-d'oevres that many of the B&B's we frequent offer. All in all, we had a very nice stay. T & K

Gary and Sue are the best innkeepers. Love the deck over the water, we had breakfast there every morning. With the windows open upstairs, some street noise. Would go back anytime.

We were looking for a local getaway and remembered a recommendation (Waterfront Inn in Gig Harbor) from a friend of ours back at our wedding 10 years ago. I looked it up online, and it looked great. We stayed there this last weekend, and it was WONDERFUL. I wish we were still there! The room was nice, the food was good, and the location is amazing! Being right on the water was great! My wife and I went out together in the double kayak once, and I must have gone out in the single kayak 3 times a day (use of the kayaks is included!). It was truly amazing. Each time I went out, I paddled over to find the resident harbor seals. They would pop their heads up to check me out and then go about their business swimming around 10-30 yard away from me. We walked 1/4 mile to dinner each night at Anthony's at Gig Harbor and that was great too. All in all, a wonderful weekend. Thank you Waterfront Inn!

We had a wonderful time at the Waterfront Inn. Our hosts were very gracious and attentive. A light breakfast was ready and waiting for us each morning. The kayaking was spectacular and the dock was inviting and offered spectacular views and photo ops. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Choose on of the three rooms on the harbor level. They are comfy, spacious and have an open french door view of the harbor. Sue and Gary were very gracious hosts. This was our fourth stay and we will return again!!

We only stayed one night at the Waterfront Inn but it was wonderful. Sue and Gary were terrific hosts. We had flown into the Seattle airport and our flight was delayed. Then traffic delayed us, but they called our cell phone and left a very thorough message welcoming us and providing after-hours check-in instructions. The Inn has a terrific view of the entire harbor, yet was just out-of-the-way enough to provide a quiet night's rest for us. We are recommending Waterfront Inn – and Gig Harbor – to all our friends!

The Waterfront Inn is our choice destination in Gig Harbor, WA. We've stayed four times, now, and the primary draw for us is the location with the most beautiful view of the harbor. The innkeepers maintain a deck for the use of the guests, which is a great place to relax with a book, a drink and/or a bottle of tanning lotion. If you want to be more active, there are small kayaks (available at no charge to the guests) to take out and paddle around in the harbor area. Steve and Janis were away during our last stay, but Sue and Gary, interim innkeepers, were very accommodating and helpful to us during our stay. Parking is limited and tricky because of their location right on the harbor, and Gary came out and helped us get the car into the right spot. I had a food requirement for breakfast involving low-carb, protein-only, and they prepared a delicious breakfast for me that included eggs and cheese, even though they normally provide a continental breakfast with pastries and/or bagels, fruit and yogurt, which was perfect for my husband. Gary made reservations for us at Anthony's one of the nights we were there, and because the reservations were made through the Waterfront Inn, we received a calamari appetizer for free, which turned out to be our favorite part of the meal. Our room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed, and since there is only one arcadia-door entrance and no way to open windows for a cross-breeze, a fan was provided in the room. The rooms have all the conveniences, but still have a rustic, by-the-water feel to them and are furnished within that theme. We love the casual quality of the area, the location of the Waterfront Inn and the kind and courteous way we have been treated each time we have visited. We would happily recommend the Waterfront Inn as a great place to stay in Gig Harbor.

Gorgeous Gig Harbor view in a peaceful location. The over-water terrace was well furnished and charming. Owners were helpful but not intrusive. Great decor with comfy bed and sweet fruit at breakfast. Only desire I longed for was a window- if you like fresh air. Door provides only circulation and sleeping with open door is not an option.

The Waterfront Inn was very charming and in a beautiful location. The view from our room, facing the water, of the morning sunrise and fog on the lake made an outstanding view. Service was good and the continental breakfast was all that was needed. Gig Harbor has many little shops and restaurants with a very laid back feeling. The only problem was parking and then carrying the luggage down several stairs since our room was on the lower level. But the views, peace and quiet, and charm far out weighed this little inconvenience.

Nice location but you are paying for the view. Just adequate accommodation for a high price. TV didn't work.

The inn was so close to everything in the town bug just far enough away! It was very peaceful and relaxing. We had a great time! Thanks for having us

Location is wonderful; if the weather is good the deck over the water is a lovely place to sit. Do not stay in the Quartermaster room if you are tall/big person, as the bathroom has been squeezed under the sloping roof and the shower cubicle is small. The place was more of a motel room; there was no common space inside the house to meet other guests, not even over breakfast, which was served on a tray. Continental breakfast was fine (although you had to make your own coffee), but there was no table in the room to eat at, and it would be pretty monotonous if you stayed longer than 2 days. Felt very impersonal and was disappointing for a B & B.

We were impressed with the location of the B & B along the harbor in Gig Harbor. We loved the dock that had lounging furniture on it for our use. We sat out there in the evening and then ate our breakfast there too. We loved the decor of the room as well as the cleanliness. The innkeepers were very friendly and gracious. We both enjoyed our stay.

The room was perfect at check in, the view was great out into Gig Harbor. The kayaks were a welcome bonus for paddling the harbor. The breakfasts were great and the owners very very nice and helpful

We recently made our first trip to Gig Harbor for our niece's wedding. We had never stayed at a B&B or Inn before....we were curious about all we read on their website so we booked the last room available at the Waterfront Inn. Unfortunately we didn't snatch a waterfront room but our stay in the "wheelhouse" room was very nice. The continental bkfst was very nice each morning and the hosts were very friendly. We would highly recommend a stay for anyone wanting a breathtaking view while relaxing on their dock with a cup of coffee. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. We look forward to hopefully getting a waterfront room our next stay!

A perfect stay - enjoyed the dock out front for a cold beverage in the evening. Innkeepers attentive - but also not intrusive. This was one of the highlights of out trip.

We stayed at the Waterfront Inn for one night and had the most wonderful time! The home is beautiful, the area is quaint and cute, and the service and hospitality of the innkeepers was exceptional! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to everyone!

I would highly recommend the Waterfront Inn. It was quiet, clean, spacious, and the innkeepers a delight. It had a wonderful deck to sit by the harbor and relax. The rooms were decorated lovely and the sitting area had all the comforts of home.

We found the Waterfront inn online and found the online booking tool very easy and convenient. The location was lovely and the room very cozy. Check in was a breeze and we really enjoyed the privacy and atmosphere. The view from our room was beautiful. Breakfast was great and being able to eat in the room (or deck) was a plus! Also, Anthony's restaurant and a fun little wine bar were just a block away so we had a fantastic dinner within walking distance. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Janis made our stay at the Waterfront Inn all about us: telling us what to do in town, where all the equipment was for their kayaks, the characters in the neighborhood... We had plans to tour all over the area; instead, our car never moved upon arrival. Gig Harbor is a nice place and the view from the inn invokes jealousy over our own lives.

We loved the experience. I do think the morning breakfast was lacking a little. We found the pastries a little less than stellar and I think giving a few choices might be better. All in all it is a great place. We had the Admiral's room and it was fantastic. A very relaxing place and great little town.

This bed and breakfast was a peaceful stay with a wonderful waterfront view. For our stay over the 4th of July weekend my husband and I were looking for something that didnt feel like a hotel, with a cozy feel and not a lot of traffic.This fit our expectations perfectly. The rooms were clean, and provided all the amenities needed for our stay. We also enjoyed the jacouzzi tub and will recommend it to others. Thanks!

The highlight of our stay at the Waterfront Inn was waking up each morning to the amazing view of the water. In addition, the opportunity to take kayaks out onto the water adds immensely to the enjoyment of the stay. Finally, the proximity to downtown Gig Harbor, walking distance to restaurants and shopping, and just the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed and slow-paced few days is completely restoring.

We enjoyed the ambience of the area--glass of wine on the deck overlooking the water--serenity--beautiful scenery--attentive and friendly hosts. We would stay again!!

The Inn was very cute. An old home redone beautifully. The room and bathroom was very clean. We enjoyed our view of the water a lot. We had a good time there. Its one down fall however is you hear everything while in the bathroom. We could hear both couples on either side of us talking, brushing their teeth, showering, etc. Really didn't like that. Overall, though it was a good experience.

Gary and Sue were wonderful and made us all feel welcome. VERY helpful and accommodating. We were on a short and small (4 day/4 person) business meeting and this location worked well for us coming from across the US and overseas. We were able to get a comfortable meeting space at the Inn, so just commuted from our spacious rooms. Lots of places to eat w/in walking distance. Gorgeous setting. Highly recommend it for vacation or work. Very likely to go back.

The room was clean and so cozy! The jetted tub was great and the views from our window were idyllic. The calm feeling by the water was priceless, and the staff were attentive. I would recommend The Waterfront Inn as a great place to relax and unwind.

Beautiful views, great location and seaside inspired decor are the highlights of this B&B. Services are minimal and meant to be unobtrusive.

My husband and I stayed two nights at this delightful bed and breakfast. It was wonderful to have breakfast in our room looking out over the water and enjoying all the shorebirds! During the day it was fun roaming in and out of the quaint shops of Gig Harbor. Sue and Gary were great hosts and guided us to some delicious restaurants.

My wife & I recently stayed for three nights at the Waterfront Inn. We had a fantastic time. One of the finest vacations we have had with accomidations. Lay in bed, open your door to the sounds & smells of Gig Harbor. Great dock on which to eat breakfast or just relax. Would return in a minute! Enjoyed the on site kayak to paddle in the harbor anytime. A block from the best wine shop in Gig Harbor. Fifteen minutes to Tacoma area/glass museum etc. Truely a fantastic vacation. Definately a do-over! Thanks.

This is my 4th time staying at the Waterfront Inn...this is the refuge where my wife and I go whenever we need to be refreshed. It is very peaceful and restful, and we've always come away completely refreshed. They have kayaks that you can use, and we always paddle across the bay to Java & Clay Cafe to paint some pottery. The owners of the Waterfront Inn are delightful, and the view is breathtaking. Admiral's Suite is my favorite room, but you can't go wrong with any of the rooms. I highly recommend this B&B!

We have just spent three wonderful nights here in beautiful Gig Harbor. The location of the Waterfront Inn is perfect, the view...magnificent; the service and friendliness of Steve, Janis and Jenny is the key to a truly wonderful vacation!!
