Miller Tree Inn

About

The Miller Tree Inn is a 1916 farm homestead bordered on two sides by pasture land, at the edge of small Forks, WA. The inn has 8 rooms, all with private bathrooms. Some rooms have gas fireplaces and jetted tubs. Our guests have use of a covered front porch, 2 common areas, TV/DVD, piano and wireless internet. We are located near the Hoh Rain Forest and Pacific beaches and other wonders of Olympic National Park. We are also close to many rivers where guests can arrange for drift boat fishing trips, mostly in October - April, when we will do pre-dawn breakfasts for our angling guests. A full, hot breakfast is included in the room rates and is normally served between 7:30 and 9:00 AM.

Great place to stay in Forks.

My niece and I stayed in the Orchard Suite. Having separate rooms worked out very well for us. I slept on the Murphy bed and found it quite comfortable. There were plenty of towels, bedding and kitchen supplies. The staff were very welcoming and warm. The owners are charming. Breakfast was delicious. They offered alternatives if we had special needs and seconds if that's what you need! I will go back next time I'm exploring the Olympic Peninsula.

A Slice of Heaven

Bill and Susan are wonderful inn keepers and have a beautiful property in the middle of paradise. With the Hoh Rainforest, the Olympic National Forest, La Push and Rialto beaches just a short drive away they are poised as the perfect jumping off spot for any adventure you may want to have. The inn is beautiful, we have stayed in the Elk View and Ella's Suite. Both are beautiful and have large comfy king size beds with additional fold outs and private rooms if you were to have more than two in your party. Ella's suite has its own private outside entrance. Both rooms have incredible views. The breakfast is wonderful and snacks and sodas and water are available your whole stay. This is a quality B & B which we look forward to visiting time and time again. Thank you Bill & Susan.

Sunset Room

3.8 on May 02, 2016

We stayed in the Sunset room, which was clean and tidy. It is just as small as it looks in the photographs, but that is not a problem. We tried the jet bathtub and that was kind of fun, but we couldn't get the shower to work-- it looks like water can't be directed to the showerhead anymore. Breakfast was delicious. We didn't meet the cat until we left, which was too bad, because we like cats! The town is pretty dull but we enjoyed walking through it. It is very convenient to the Hoh Rainforest, which was our primary activity this trip.

Innkeeper Response
We appreciate the nice review and are also sorry that they did not meet our cat Moira sooner! Unfortunately we did not give directions about operating the shower, which was an oversight on our part. The shower is still functional, but the trick is to pull DOWN on the ring around the spout running water into the tub. After getting cell phone calls from guests in the bathroom with the same confusion, we now try to explain the operation at check-in (when we remember). By the way, the jetted bathtub in Sunset, as in Ella's Suite, is just a small, single tub. Cedar Creek and Orchard Suite each have slightly wider oval, single tubs (jetted). There is a larger foot-to-foot jetted tub in Elk View and our largest side-by-side jetted tub is in Country Clover.

Clean and comfortable

After a few nights in a hotel in Port Angeles we decided to stay on the west side of the park. There isn't much on the west side of Olympic NP above the local motel flare. However, this B&B was a good alternative. Pretty low-key and owners really keep to themselves, which can be relaxing. Breakfast was good.

A wonderful and memorable stay

The Miller Tree Inn exceeded all our expectations. The innkeepers are incredibly warm and friendly, with deep knowledge of the local area. The rooms and common areas are very inviting and comfortable, and the breakfasts were delightful! I would absolutely recommend the Miller Tree Inn to anyone looking for a place to stay on a weekend trip to the peninsula.

Wonderful experience in this B&B

Before going to the Olympic national park I searched a lot on the internet about the B&B and motels in Forks, most of the people advised that do not have high expectations for living condition in the B&B and motels there. But Miller Tree Inn is the exception! The B&B is perfect! Bill and Susan are very nice people and they are so considerate, they'll always be helpful when you have any questions to ask. Btw the breakfast was great!!! The room was cozy and made you feel like home. Everything was well prepared and clean. I had a very good time there with my girl friend and this Miller Tree Inn gave us very good memory in the Olympic national park.

Great little corner of Forks

Nice suite, close to a decent bar, right on the main road in forks.

Forks best B&B by far !

4.8 on April 13, 2016

We enjoyed our stay tremendously -- everything was fantastic, including the binoculars in the room for us to use to look at the roaming elk herd just up the road. The hosts had lots of great snacks set out, and stocked up the fridge with a nice assortment of beverages. They were fully booked, and we were sad we could only get in for one night, but we are definitely going to go back!! The breakfast was very tasty, and we enjoyed visiting with other guests over coffee.

Excellent, will be going back!

My new wife and I wanted to get away for the weekend and so spontaneously took off for Forks for the weekend. She found this B&B and thought it looked fun, she had never stayed in a B&B before. The room was amazing and the hosts wonderful. Breakfast was better than I could have expected. We will definitely go back.

Great headquarters to explore the OP
