I have had the occasion to stay at Birds eye view twice. First was in September of 2015. Second was in March of 2016 while visiting my son and his family. I have had enough of the hotels in my travels and I have stayed at other B & B's. Darryl and Jodi are excellent host. The location is just remote enough, 5 mile from the shopping and dinning district and 2 mile from Bremerton, the B & B sets on top of a hill in a residential setting. When the sun rises on the Olympic Mountains range, what a beautiful view. Breakfast was served according to my schedule, wonderfully prepared and quite delicious. Darryl and Jodi have been exceptionally accommodating to me needs and schedule. I can not say enough about how I was welcomed. I have stayed in two different rooms which are beautifully decorated with antiques, very comfortable beds. The B & B was built in 1998, yet the decor throughout lends to the rustic. There is a history and story for all the detail that went into the construction. The pics online are beautiful. You need to see it in person.

Sharon and I found the Bird's-Eye Nest hidden among the gems of the Pacific Northwest. We traveled to the area to attend the U.S. Open golf tournament at nearby Chambers Bay. The golf course was a bust but the B&B made the trip worth every minute and penny we spent. Darryl and Jody made us feel like family and Jody's breakfasts did not help my diet but worth the slip. We had an entire floor for a room and had to work hard to use the space. The location was off-the-beaten path just enough to give the feel of a country inn. We have stayed at B&Bs and Inns all over the world and this one ranks right at the top of our favorites. We would go back just to see our new old friends.

Do not miss this place. We are senior citizens. We have been travelling a lot all over the world. We always prefer b&b when we can afford them. We have been in many of them. Some of them were very good. Few were excellent. This one was the best! We had a huge room, the whole of the second floor, size of three rooms. All the house, including our room, is decorated and maintained to perfection. The owners are lovely warm persons, interested in their visitors. They were doing their best to understand our desires and plans and to help us fulfil them. The breakfast was delicious, served in a beautiful, romantic dining room, decorated with flowers and candles. In the morning of our last day there, the skies were clear, and we enjoyed the impressive view of the Olympus mountains.

I was planning a trip to Washington for my daughter and I and split the days between two B&B's. Lucky for us, the majority of the nights were at Bird's-Eye View. This place is so cozy and comfortable, we instantly felt at home. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view of the mountains and the sunset in the evenings.I was very spacious and there was a very stylish antique tub which I decided to take advantage of for a relaxing bubble bath. The owners, Darryl and Jody are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life and very accommodating. The breakfast was gourmet every morning and everything was set up beautifully. The rate was also excellent in comparison to the first place we stayed in Seattle. I would recommend this place to anyone planning a trip.

A + AMAZING!!!!! My friend and I were in town for a womens show and decided to stay at a B & B for something different than a hotel. I was a bit aprehensive about staying at a B & B as I hadn't experienced one before. I completely recommend staying at the Birds Eye View! I will definately be back and will bring my husband next time. Darryl & Jody are so nice, welcoming and generous. They even came and saw us at the womens show. The rooms are beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The view of the Olympics are spectacular and the house is a awesome. Again.... A+ Amazing! Great job Darryl & Jody. Thank you for having us. Will see you again soon.
