    Great Escape!

    April 28, 2013

We had a wonderful stay with Darryl and Jody. They were welcoming and accommodating to us and our two children (7 & 9). We stayed in the Victorian Rose room, which was spacious. The rollaways the kids used were very comfortable. Awesome views of the Olympic Mountains! Breakfasts were delicious!

    Wonderful Stay!

    April 04, 2013

We had a great time at Birds Eye View! The room was the largest one we have ever stayed in at at B & B. I really loved the claw foot tub with the nice view. The room was clean and very well decorated. Jody did a great job accommodating our food allergies and special dietary needs. While she was doing that Darryl answered our questions about places to go in the area. We really liked our hike to the top of Green Mountain it was a clear enough day to see Seattle. It is clear that Jody and Darryl really enjoy what they do!

Friendly Hosts - Fun, Seasonal Decor

    January 15, 2013

Jody and Darryl are delightful folks who must have been born to host visitors. Our welcome was warm and the conversations engaging. Clever Christmas decorations were everywhere in the public rooms on the first floor (yes, we were there during the holidays), and the daily breakfasts were real delights. Jody created Eggs Benedict for my husband (he doesn't get those at home), a different delectable egg dish for me, and something else for the other two guests. Darryl served us his unique breakfast smoothie. We weren't hungry again until evening. On the second morning we were served very special French Toast to start our day. All portions are ample and the food is delicious. Bird's Eye View has beautifully decorated en suite rooms with claw foot tubs. Our accommodations were super comfy and immaculately clean! During the two days we were in residence, "the mountains were out" and very visible from our room and private balcony. We had gorgeous, sunny January days. The photos on the website accurately portray what you'll find at the inn - including CC, the Smith's curly- coated retriever.

Jody and Darryl were incredibly accomodadting. We had our son with us, so they upgraded us to a huge room and even provided toys for him to play with. They suggested local activities and restaurants and provided great breakfasts. They have a beatutiful house and treat their guests wonderfully. I highly recommend staying here.
