Benson Farmstead B&B is a beautifully restored 1914 farmhouse set in the Skagit Valley near the tulip fields, LaConner and Chuckanut Dr. Grandchildren of Norwegian farming pioneers, Jerry and Sharon Benson opened the B&B in 1991 after raising their 4 sons. The 17 room farmhouse is filled with antiques, Scandinavian curios and old quilts. The main house has 3 guest rooms with private baths. Also, the Barn Cottage can accomodate up to 8 and the restored well tower(Garden Suite)can accomodate 2 plus a child. The extensive grounds feature an English garden, an antique machinery garden, a water garden,an orchard and a playground. Trumpeter swans winter in the surrounding fields. The Barn cottage ($125-$135), a restored granary, is ideal for families and single groups and can sleep up to 7 people. It has a kitchenette, living room and TV.
The garden suite ($115-125), in the lower half of the restored well-house, features a kitchenette, queen bed, sitting area and dishTV-VCR.
The Beach House($175 for 2 & $250 for 4)is a log house near LaConner on the beach. It has a fireplace, three bedroom and one & one half baths as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Weekly rates available.

- No childcare is provided
- Deposit amount required (Credit card number, or first night amount by check)
- Closed: Only cottages available in winter.
- Check in time is 4 PM - 6PM and Check out time is 11 AM
- Cancellations:
Cancellation must be one week in advance for April, June, July and August. If cancelled less than one week in advance of date of arrival, one room night will be charged. Jerry and Sharon are known for their warm Scandinavian hospitality. Jerry works in the grain business when not helping with the B&B and Sharon directs a preschool. They have traveled extensively and enjoy music, reading, gardening, cooking and church activities.
