Stayed 5/19/2012. Room was very nice, with champagne provided in the suite. Complimentary personally prepared breakfast in the morning [Not a continental buffet]. Well within walking distance of downtown Bainbridge. You can go wine tasting and have cocktails without having to worry about driving. Great spot!

I felt duped when I arrived. This place is not a secluded hotel or an Inn. Its just 4 rooms in a huge apartment complex. When I arrived I, I had no idea how to find my room. I was completely lost inside this huge bee-hive complex, and had to hunt for my room. There is no "front desk" for help. I stayed in Dogwood, and the room, itself, was nice. However my bed was clearly old and had been caved in from other people sleeping in it. You could feel how uneven it was, and I barely slept the entire trip. The TV was fine, but they did not provide any basic cable stations like CNN, Fox, MSNBC, TNT, FX, much less HBO. Finally, the location, for Bainbridge is terrible. Because its located off of the 305, you do not really have walking access to the main downtown area. So, I paid a premium price for a sub-par experience.

We staid one night as a mini-vacation/romantic get-away. Walked onto ferry in Seattle & walked to Inn, and had easy access to restaurants in Winslow. The perfect vacation.

Had a wonderful time there. The room was clean, comfortable and attractively designed. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty. They even made gluten free French Toast for my wheat intolerant companion.

My husband and I finished up our two week trip at The Inn at Vineyard Lane before heading into Seattle for the last trek of our trip. Were we ever happy to find this place. What a gem! The room is enormous and the beds are plush. Sherilyn, the proprietor was absolutely wonderful. She was able to put together for us a wonderful breakfast being we are vegetarians. The food was outstanding. It's a perfect location. As we were going into Seattle the next day. We will definitely stay here again!

Four of us just got back from an overnight stay at the Inn at Vineyard Lane and it was a wonderful experience. The grounds are exceptionally beautiful and serene, the rooms modern but comfortable, and the breakfast by Sharilynn was the best French toast I've ever eaten as well as the best presentation!
4.0 out of 5Very Northwest!
May 08, 2009
This was my and my husband's first use of BedandBreakfast.com, and while this inn was our third choice (we had a bit of a runaround with our first two selections), we had a delightful stay! Sharilyn (the manager) is very warm and helpful, and even quick to altar the breakfast menu for personal preferences. While the inn does utilize a "self check-in" method and there was some confusion on how to use the key, Sharilyn's assistant kept a keen eye for incoming guests and checked on us to insure our smooth check-in. The rooms are lovely yet understated; decorated in warm and soothing tones. The food was familiar, comforting, and superbly prepared and presented. Another perk to the inn is it's proximity to the ferry dock--a brisk and energetic 0.5 mile hike down a trail that by-passes the streets (however unlit at night, and not recommended for those with leg or foot ailments). My husband and I were able to enjoy a nice dinner in Seattle before returning to the inn -- all in all, the stay far exceeded my expectations!

We thououghly enjoyed our four day stay. Sharilyn made sure that everything was to our satisfaction and did all she could to make our stay the best possible. She was always available for advice as to where to go and what to do locally. The room was very clean, charming and tastefully appointed. There were little suprises like books of the local area and afternoon snacks. Sharilyn provided the best breakfast that we have had in a B&B. They were deliciously prepared with never the same thing twice and with a flower on the plate. The dinning area was quiet and had a beautiful view of the commons. We were having coffee and an afternoon snack when a doe and a buck invited their selves to lunch. We ate inside and they browsed on the immacuately cared for landscaping outside. The buck checked us out and left nose prints on the window. We will make this our place to stay when we are in the Seattle and Bainbridge Island area.
