Annabelle's Bed and Breakfast
-
Annabelle's is a loft tucked away in a seperate building that also houses our art studio.
Sunrise over Mt. Ranier on Anderson Island.
The patio is a welcome step towards the path to the beach.
Welcome to Annabelle's! Enter from the country road through large rock pillars onto our drive lined with cherry trees. This now becomes your home too.
Enjoy our gardens and guest areas that have been designed for comfort, quiet, and ease.
Late day sun on path to the beach.
We are very proud of our gardens filled with lavendar, herbs and hundreds of flowers. There is even a private garden sequestered from view just for Annabelle's guests. One of my favorite images is coming around the corner to find an artist recently returned from Italy painting in the guest's garden.
The cozy bedroom has hand embroidered linens and a down feather bed. The view looks out on Puget Sound.

Annabelle's is a romantic, peaceful, and secluded hide away on Anderson Island in Puget Sound. Leave everything on the mainland but your dreams and wishes. Enter into a place that is nothing but lovely. We have attempted to create a world that simply begs you take naps, walk, rest, and remember all the good that is in your life. Yours is a seperate residence; complete with a decadent breakfast, a down filled four poster bed, and five acres on Puget Sound where you can walk for miles seeing nothing but deer, eagles and hawks. So come board the ferry, embark onto our little island, then turn down our country road into a world of peace and comfort.

5 out of 5A Wedding Made Perfect
May 30, 2012
I can't say enough about our experience at Annabelle's. The location, the view, the rooms, and the morning's breakfast...all better than we could have asked for. Most importantly, however, the warmth, friendliness, and help offered so freely by Karen and Bob gave us an opportunity to relax and enjoy our wedding. They truly felt like family, on a day when that was so appreciated.

5 out of 5Just What We Were Looking For!
June 18, 2009
After a family cruise to Alaska, my 16 year old son and I wanted to stay in the Seattle area to explore and go birding. I was looking for an experience that would make us feel at home. Our stay at Annabelle's could not have been more perfect! Innkeepers Karen and Bob were warm, wonderful hosts, helping us organize our time to get the most out of our stay in the area. I have stayed at many B&Bs, but no one can rival the breakfast Karen prepares and leaves just outside your cottage. Homemade danish, cheese soufflet, rosemary quiche, and fresh berry crisp were among our favorites. The cottage itself is lovely and tasteful, surrounded by beautiful gardens (check it out on the web site!). We spent quiet evenings looking out over the Sound from the porch and watching beautiful sunsets. Anderson Island is charming! The kayak we borrowed was a big hit with my son Sam -- and even me -- as we paddled around the shore of Anderson Island with harbor seals so close we could almost touch them. Sam loved the fishing from shore, too! Sand dollars are everywhere, and beautiful birds migrate to the island from the Nisqually Nature Reserve just across the Sound. This is a B&B that would be a great choice either for a couple's weekend away or for a situation like ours. It was a great value to boot! I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone and everyone.

This inn embodies what a B&B should be. The accommodations and the breakfast were world class. The owner, Karen, is a model for hospitality and generosity. She has an uncanny ability to take care of every detail. Our highest recommendation goes out to this tiny piece of heaven. We will come back!
