I travel for work, so I get to stay in many different locations. Upon arriving to town I found out that my reservations I had mistakenly made for the following weekend at a different B&B. I was recommended to Lori by her friend Lori Kennedy at Don Carlos winery (I would recommend going there!), and she was so welcoming, and able to make accomodations for me last minute. She is by far the most gracious host I have ever met, she is fun, warm, friendly, and a great cook. The best part about this experiernce- aside from the property being extremely clean, and very comfortable beds etc. was Lori's extensive knowledge of all of the wineries, wine makers, and local restaurants. I did not get the pleasure of taking her wine tour since I was there on business- but did get to taste on my own with some of her recommendations. Everyone in town knows and loves her- and if you mention you are staying with her you get Lori Fischer perks all over town. I feel so blessed to have made an error in my reservations, as I think my stay far exceeded my expectations. I will be letting everyone I know about this place- and gracious host! Thanks Lori for such an enjoyable experience!

My sweetie and I needed to escape Seattle for some sun and found much more. The Fischer House was welcoming, comfortable and quiet. Lori and her husband Dennis are wonderful hosts. Lori's extensive knowledge of the area and wineries added another dimension to our weekend. We went on a wine tour and were treated to a fun day with access to barrel tastings and wineries which would have been unavailable to us on our own. The breakfasts were delicious....the home extremely clean....and all our needs anticipated. We stayed for 3 nights and will be visiting here again.
