Cameo Heights Mansion is a shining gem located atop a scenic plateau surrounded by an orchard with a panoramic view of the Walla Walla river valley. The background hills seem quaintly reminiscent of the Tuscan area of Italy. Cameo Heights is located centrally between Walla Walla on the East and the Tri-Cities and the famous Red Mountain wine appellation on the West. The short road to Walla Walla is marked by notable wineries and historical locations all along the way. Cameo Heights Mansion was designed as a B&B so all of our spacious guest suites have private baths and elegant furnishings. Attention to detail, including an on-site restaurant featuring fine dining, will insure your stay becomes a cherished memory.

A wonderful place to go with your lover "husband, boyfriend, or really close friend." This place is an awsome inspiring place to have a romatic get away. Life is to short and the price may be high to some people, but it is all worth it. and the romance will spark the life of love. Go and enjoy your stay.

We found this B&B through a brochure for uniqueinns.com.We decided to stay here with another couple and visit the Walla Walla wineries. The mansion is amazing to behold. The owners have thought of absolutely everything one could possibly need/want for an over-the-top yet comfortable stay. The grounds of the mansion are beautiful, complete with a wonderful hot tub/spa and swimming pool (although since our stay was at the end of Oct. the pool was closed). The rooms are decorated sumptuously but are quite comfortable. I especially loved the walk-in shower in the Greek room, complete with two shower heads, one being a rain shower. I have never been fond of B&Bs because I always felt like I was "intruding" in someone's home. But, even though this is the owners' home, I never felt like I was intruding--I felt more like I lived here! We watched movies in the media/home theater room downstairs, snacked on free snacks, popped popcorn in the "old-fashioned" popcorn maker, used our tokens (2 each per day) for soda and ice cream, soaked in the hot tub, and played an uproarious game of ping pong. We even were able to take a walk in the apple orchards to gather a few apples--yum! The only downside was we were there on a Sunday/Monday night so were unable to dine at the Vine--it's closed those 2 nights. However, the complimentary breakfasts were out-of-this-world good. And the "wake-up" pastries and coffee every morning were divine. Please, stay here. You won't be disappointed. Even in October, the "down season," we had one beautiful sunny day and even on the cloudy day, we still enjoyed the hot tub. And, we practically had the mansion to ourselves on Sunday/Monday nights. “We stayed upstairs on the second level and the rooms were very quiet. I'm not sure how quiet the downstairs rooms near the media room, communal kitchen for snacks, and ping pong table would be.”

This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast so we didn't know what to expect. The Cameo Heights Mansion was so beautiful! Everything about our stay was perfect!

We walked inside and were met by a very knowledgeable and friendly person name Jose. She poured us a fantastic glass of tasty apple cider. We completed our check in and proceeded on a tour of the mansion and the grounds. What a beautiful setting for a romantic getaway. We walked into our room and it was all we had hoped for - clean, bright, spacious, and inviting. We ate dinner at the Vine and it was amazing. The atmosphere was warm, romantic and quiet. The chef and wait staff were friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding! The next morning's breakfast was another fantastic meal, wishing we could stay more nights. If bed and breakfasts were an olympic event, you would score all 10s! Well done Cameo Heights!!

We are regulars of B&Bs and have had many gorgeous and amazing experiences. Needless to say finding this gem may have ruined future experiences!! I'm not sure there will ever be another B&B that can measure up to the standard of Cameo Heights!! The home is breathtaking. Ginormous buy it doesn't feel that way. So comfortable and inviting. The rooms (we stayed in German) are beyond expectations. But the FOOD. Ahhh the good, quite easily the best gourmet food I've ever eaten. And I've been to some pretty amazing places!!! We cannot wait to go back!! I would like to see them offer more activities. Maybe some cooking classes, a pair of bicycles to go exploring, maybe a guided wine tour of all the amazing wineries in the near area.
Thank you for a great review. We actually do guided wine tours. We have a stretched 1989 Cadillac limo and enjoy taking guests on wine tours in primarily Walla Walla. We have wonderful trails for hiking and exploring but they because of some of the slopes and gravel, they may not lend themselves to well to bicycles. I used to send guests down the Walla Walla river but they kept swamping the canoe so I got scared to do that anymore. I guess I worry that they will get hurt on the bikes. But we invite all to walk through 400 acres of orchard and vineyard. staying mostly on the periphery roads.

We stayed at Cameo heights only for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I can't say enough about the exceptional services and quality of the entire property! We payed extra to arrive early and to leave late and it was well worth it! The food is a step above!!!! I didn't know we had such amazing food so close to home. We dined at The Vine the night of our stay and it was such an amazing experience! We savored every bite and the chef was so accomodating to our food preferences! Breakfast was also amazing, and was prepared by the owner!! I honestly can't say enough about the short stay that we had. We will definitely return!!!! Thank you!!!!!

We've have stayed at Cameo 2 times now and will continue to stay for every anniversary. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable, and the dining is just divine! I honestly have nothing negative to say of this place, from the service to the activities, everything exceeds our expectations everytime.
Thanks for the very positive review. You have given us 5 stars for all except for service and value, yet you graciously praised the service and essentially ranked the value as 5 star when you said "everything exceeded our expectations" in your comments. Since we are keen about being totally 5 star, what would we need to adjust to reach a solid 5 stars ranking or is it just an instance where you feel you just can't give a perfect score?
