We just finished up with a much needed mini-escape weekend to Seattle. The Sleeping Bulldog B & B was the pizzaz that made it magical! We stayed in the Santa Fe Room and felt so pampered! From the luxurious sheets, warming stone bath floor, jacuzzi tub, toiletries from New Zealand, in the room Keurig Coffeemaker (extra star for that one!) yoga mat, a fully stocked DVD/BluRay selection w/popcorn, beverages, other snacks (for the when you are in the room recouping from your day of exploring beautiful Seattle) every need has been anticipated and beautifully provided for. Korby and Randal were on their own mini-escape and so we were lucky to have Liz and Gary as our hosts. We are "breakfast foodies" from Portland and can honestly say that the breakfasts we had (and there were three of them) were the BEST EVER. They provided us with extra adventuring info and were spot on with all their help! Next time we will treat ourselves to the New Orleans Suite (we peeked in there when it was empty of course!) and it does have the view that everyone is talking about! All in all a most awesome experience! Nate & Laura

Really good breakfast and snacks especially the chocolate brownie.

This property is a very nice surprise in a neighborhood in transition. It is extremely well maintained by its owners who are most friendly and intent on your enjoyment of the stay. Our room rating is that the Western Room is small without space for a chair. Other than that the owners have done a very good job with it. The property is quiet and it is easy to reach downtown. Parking is on the street with no through traffic. The property is furnished with all the amenities one would like. Next stay would be in one of the other rooms with the New Orleans being the largest and having the view.

WOW, what an awesome gift to me from my son for my Birthday! This was my first stay at a Bed and Breakfast and I thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Honestly it felt like home and everything was just perfect!! Upon arrival to departure -- there was such a warm welcome from Randal and Korby, which made my stay over and above what I expected. Thanks Randal and Korby for such a great blissful experience and for making my birthday weekend that much special!!!! I will be back!!

This home is beautiful and exquisitely appointed. The owners are charming and friendly, and Mojo the bulldog is a sweetheart. The free snacks and drinks are high quality and plentiful, and homemade baked goods were always available downstairs. We checked out a day early because our room was so hot that we couldn't sleep, even after asking for AC the second night. (It only runs during the day.) That's the reason for the one star service rating-- otherwise a lovely place. I'm sure fall, winter, and spring are perfect.

My husband and I stayed in the Northwest suite for three nights recently. It's really a spacious one-bedroom basement apartment with a private entrance. It was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean, and had a full kitchen stocked with drinks and goodies. Breakfast upstairs was heavenly, and Korby and Randale were wonderful hosts who helped with restaurant suggestions and bus info. The location is close to a bus stop and the airport. We look forward to returning.

My husband and I stayed at the Sleeping Bulldog several years ago and were thrilled with the hospitality, fabulous breakfasts, charm, cleanliness, location, amenities, and wonderful friendliness of Korby and Randal. We returned for a 4 night stay at the end of July and the experience was again outstanding! We felt so welcome and beyond comfortable. What an incredible value. Reserve as early as you can!

We were in Seattle for a week and had planned to stay with one of our children, but at the last minute we had to find a hotel or inn for the first two days. It was Fleet Week and the few available decent hotels were extraordinarily expensive. But we then found the Sleeping Bulldog, which had a vacancy and this turned out to be a stroke of luck--not only because we didn't have to sleep on the streets of Seattle, but because the accommodations were terrific. Our large room had a beautiful view of downtown Seattle and the Olympics (we had clear days). The bed was a bit high but very comfortable. The hosts, and their cute and fat bulldog, were delightful. I would say everything was perfect, except that as great as everything was, the breakfasts were maybe the best I've had ever, anywhere, and in comparison to the breakfasts everything else was only excellent, great, whatever. Even the custard-filled donuts were home-made and were both rich and light, a hard combination to get right. Actually, the hosts were as nice and helpful as the breakfast was delicious. I would return here anytime.
The first thing that strikes you about the New Orleans room is the panoramic view. You have an unobstructed view of Downtown Seattle, Puget Sound, Quest Field, and the Olympic Mountains. The room hosts a King size bed with a sittting area and a fireplace. You can enjoy a movie on the 46in flat screen TV or maybe a soak in the jacuzzi tub. Or maybe you'll want to just lay in bed and enjoy your i-home radio while gazing out at the ever changing view. In the morning enjoy reading the complimentary newspaper while sipping on a cup of freshlymade coffee from your Keurig coffee maker.
The Western room is also in the back of the house and gives you a taste of the old West. From the cowhide rugs to the "whimsical cowbot cats" this room will give you the feel of the West. The room has a Queen size bed with a Tempurpedic mattress. This room has all the comforts you will need to make your stay a most enjoyable one. Enjoy a new 3/4 bath in this room.
The warm colors of the Santa Fe room instantly calm you. This room is tastefully decorated with a Southwest theme. From the Kokopelli lamp shades to the ceiling fan pull you will notice the attention to details that make this room feel so relaxing. This room is located in the back of the house that is adjacent to a quiet alley. This room has a new full bathroom with Jacuzzi tub
For those that are looking for a quiet enviroment. Unit has a private entrance, full kitchen, living room, bedroom and full bathroom. Fully contained unit.
