MILDRED'S, established in 1982 on historic Capitol Hill, is a large double-turreted, 1890 Victorian, the perfect setting for traditional, caring B&B hospitality. The home has been maintained in its original Victorian style with beautiful natural wood in the entry and stairway.
Lace curtains, red carpets, grand piano and fireplace create a feeling of welcoming warmth and security. A common area offers the convenience of a drop-down ironing board with mirrored door, a refrigerator, sink, instant hot water tap with the makings for coffee or tea, home-made cookies, telephone and reading material. MILDRED'S special touches, like coffee and juice to your room one-half hour before breakfast, make guests feel truly pampered. A wrap-around front porch is a great place on a warm day to watch the world go by. Peace in the heart of the city.

We cater to business and pleasure travelers. All four rooms are carpeted, have color TV/VCRs, queen beds, writing desks and comfortable seating. Easy I-5 access to SeaTac airport, ample street parking and great public transportation at the front door. Across the street is historic 44-acre Volunteer park, the Asian Art Museum, flower conservatory, tennis courts, and historic brick water tower you can climb for a view as good or better than from our famous Space Needle.
