Great For Reviving Yourself.

4.8 on April 15, 2015

If you want a place to gather yourself, this is the place to go. I had a very hard year, losing someone very close to me, and needed to get away to a 'safe place'. The Green Cat exceeded my expectations. I felt safe, protected, and yet had my privacy totally respected. the proprietors are a charming couple and seem to know just when to inquiry about how you're doing and when to butt out! The breakfast was beyond what I expected and the kitchen was great for when I wanted to cook for myself. It was like going home. A great thing for those of us too old to have a family 'home' to go to anymore. The grounds are glorious for strolling, the nearby town is quaint, and I even went into Seattle to see a show. I can't recommend this B&B enough!

Wonderful B&B!

I thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere of the Green Cat! The staff was very friendly and accommodating and even made us breakfast for a nominal fee! We highly recommend anyone staying there for a nice romantic getaway!

Thank you Green Cat Guest House!

Ken, Kimberly, and Leo the cat are terrific innkeepers! I hope to return in the summer to enjoy the patio and wander through the gardens.

A Gem!

We booked a room here because it was super close to where my stepdaughter and her husband moved when he was relocated with the Navy. It's out in the middle of no-where in all the best possible ways. So quiet and serene. The grounds are beautiful and the property itself it surrounded by forrest and farmland. There are horses, roosters, dogs, llamas, cats, and other animals all right there. The breakfasts (and the coffee) are superb. As well, the guest-dedicated kitchen is available if you want to make your own meals. The rooms are comfy and well-appointed. One of the highlights of the trip? Multiple visits by Leo the cat. We will definitely be back.

Loved it!

It was a wonderful, quiet retreat with interesting innkeepers and enough cats to keep this cat lover happy! The food was delicious, too.

This was a lovely home in the middle of no where, just what we wanted coming from the busy city life. Keep in mind this place isn't for someone who would hate the smell of horses and chickens and wouldn't take their car on a dirt and pot hole filled road. The views were awesome, and we had lots of fun exploring the property. The food was wonderful the next morning. If you do have pet allergies, i wouldn't recommend, however, if you love cats, it is almost a guarantee Leo will wander into your room for some cuddles! He was by far the most personable cat I have ever met. It was awesome. The biggest set back was the suite isn't on the top floor, and everyone knows how old houses creak. It is never enjoyable to have people above getting showered and packing to leave at 6am, but wasn't exactly the B&B's fault. I would totally stay here again.

Just go!

We had a wonderful stay at the Green Cat Guest House B&B. The grounds around the B&B were fun to explore. We enjoyed the hot tub and the relaxing atmosphere. There is a really neat area full of books that we enjoyed spending time in as well. The food was great. Even though our bathroom was not located in our room, there was a screen to separate our room and bathroom from the rest of the house so we still felt like we had plenty of privacy.
