We found a perfect place for our family to relax and unwind. We make a priority to take the family to places where we can get away from the fast pace and to places where we can relax and appreciate nature for what it is. The Cottage Get Away is truly a gem. The best vacation rental in the the Townsend area. The rooms service and and lake views where exactly what they advertise. I recommend you give them a call if you are in the area. 4346 S. Amenities: Binoculars-Full Kitchen-Sandy Beach access-Full Bath Room. A lovely 2 bedroom cottage with a fluffy queen and single bed privacy. There is a cozy fold out davenport couch in the living room capable of accommodating two more lucky kids or, adults. This is the only cottage with a cute little tub and shower. In addition, the bedroom opens onto a small, private porch offering a nice view of Discovery Bay. There is a complete kitchen with all utensils, stove, oven, fridge and microwave but no TV. Charming one bedroom cottage with a very comfy queen bed. The little vine covered porch with chaise lounge and chair offer an unobstructed, beautiful view of Discovery Bay and the occasional sea otter hiding in the bulkhead below. There is a little bathroom and shower, a small but complete kitchen with all utencils, oven, stove, fridge but no microwave. The ambiance from the little dinner table is an absolute an intimate favorite of couples, honeymooners and individuals seeking some quiet getaway. Finally, all our guests enjoy miles and miles of sandy beach walking and a bonfire in the evening

Deposit Amount Required: Reservations will be held by credit card or check for the equivalent of two nights or 1/2 your stay - whichever is greater. Example: A 6 night reservation requires a 3 night deposit.

Cancellations: Peak Season (May 1st - September 30th and Holidays) cancellations require a 30 day notice prior to your reservation date. The month of October and off Season (November 1st - April 30th) cancellations require a one week notice. If cancellations are not made within times mentioned, 1/2 of your deposit will be forfeited. If your cancelled reservation can be rebooked by another guest, then the remainder of your deposit will gladly be refunded.
