A perfect place for a couple who likes a plush, intimate retreat, and enjoys fishing or other lake activities. We stayed two nights in the fishing hole room, and it was a grand experience. Our every need and desire were well-accomodated with plenty of good cheer and style. Mid-August hot weather made enjoyable by an air-conditioned room decorated in rustic old fishing lodge style. The in-room breakfast service was luxurious, plentiful, and scrumptious. Provided for our complimentary use were satellite TV with DVD library, wireless internet, two outdoor fire pits, plenty of shady lakeside deck seating, propane grill, hammock, canoe, classic wooden boat with electric motor, and a floating dock with an end piece that detaches and can be motored abound the lake with that electric motor! My wife and I fished in the boat. I arose very early and enjoyed very convenient trolling fishing both mornings. My wife even caught her first fish in decades by simply casting from off of the dock! Priceless joy for this avid angler. We WILL will return to Wye Not.

We stayed at the Wye Not Getaway Aug. 11-15, 2012. Having never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, we only had previous reviews to rely on. Everything that we had read about this B&B was favorable and we weren't disappointed when we arrived. After long hot days of golfing we would come back to the relaxing atmosphere of the Inn and Lake. The breakfast that we ordered everyday was outstanding, no need to eat lunch on the golf course. Whether we toured the lake in the boat, lay in the hammock, or sat on the dock and read a book, this was the most relaxing vacation by far (except for my golf game). Why would anyone want to stay in a hotel?

My husband and I were amazed by the excellent service, food and atmosphere! Perfect location for a romantic get away. Words cant quite describe what a wonderful experience we had here. The innkeeper made sure our every need was met. Right on the lake, wood fire, massages, suana, chocolates and wine... need I say more!

We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again. Of all the nice B&B's we've stayed at - this is now our favorite. My husband & I are on a difficult diet to work with ( no gluten, dairy, or sugar) but Melissa met those restrictions and still made us fantastic breakfasts each morning! Our only complaint is that we wished we could have stayed longer :)

Wye Not Getaway was everything and more plus it was easy on the old pocket book! An amazing hostess who loved to serve, made us feel welcome yet gave us our space. Absolutely loved where its located, beautiful! An amazing, serine place to relax and recoup yet perfect for large numbers! So many things to do on the property! Melissa has an absolutely beautiful home and I am so thankful that she opens it up to share with the world! I will most definitely be back for a golfing trip!

What a great getaway!!! The rooms are clean and cozy, and the grounds are groomed to a tee. So much to do (or not do) with the dock on the lake and it's rowboat and fishing, the hammock, firepit, sauna, etc. The personalized service of the spa, and the wonderful breakfast are two of my favorites! I can't wait to go back!
