Evelyn and Dave are fabulous hosts. The bed and breakfast was classy, yet casual. The grounds were manicured and the inn spotless and very well decorated. We've had the pleasure of staying at 5 star hotels and resorts, and would need to give Eden by the Sea 6 stars. Evelyn is an amazing chef. I can't begin to describe the delicious 3-course breakfasts we enjoyed. Understated elegance and peaceful is how I'd define Eden by the Sea. To our right was views of the sea, and to our left was the beautiful snow-capped mountains. The stay could not have been more perfect. Did I mention how peaceful it was?

This is a truly lovely B&B. We stayed in the carriage apartment which is quite as luxurious as the main house, but the trade off was having a kitchen where we were able to buy and prepare the wonderful fresh food from the area. The guest rooms are quite lovely and comfortable. There are several areas to relax in the house and on the patio and grounds. The main home is beautiful and the grounds even more so with an amazing view of the water along with the wildlife. The Browns keep the grounds in gorgeous shape. They are lovely people and cater to your needs, including making sure you can eat what they serve. The breakfasts are 5 course gourmet meals and absolutely delicious. If there is something you especially love, be sure to let Evelyn know! And be prepared for scrumptious cookies left in your room. We highly recommend this B&B. We felt pampered but not out of place.

For your trip to Port Angeles my husband and I decided to stay at a B&B for the first time and had no idea what to expect. A couple of weeks before our trip we called to confirm reservations and after our first conversation with Evelyn we already felt comfortable with her. Upon our arrival it was love at first sight. We had no idea the property and the home, inside and out would be so beautiful. Every square inch of the B&B was just breath taking. Of the three gigantic rooms(all with private baths) we stayed in the Garden Room. The view from our room and bathroom was beautiful and peaceful. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on and we had the best nights sleep in months. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. All fresh ingredients, high end restaurant presentation and extremely tasteful. Ask for the Houves Ranchos if possible! Evelyn and Dave, the owners, made us feel right at home and made sure we had everything we needed. I was honestly depressed the day we had to leave and begged my husband to stay, which we would have if we did not have reservations at a hotel in Seattle. I have already made plans to go back twice in the next two years. After our stay at Eden by the Sea we are B&B people for sure. Although, the next B&B we stay at has very high expectations to live up to.
