The only regret our guests express is that they didn't book a longer stay... Enter into your dream of waterfront, mountains, towering evergreens, exquisite gardens, nurturing serenity. Then walk into your room through your own private entrance and feel the total ambiance of Domaine Madeleine. The fireplaces, whirlpool baths for two and king size beds set the tone for personal pampering and intimacy along with designer robes, luxury linens, free Wi-Fi, and an extensive library of books and DVD's. The main house is decorated in an Asian-inspired comfortable Pacific Northwest style. The floor-to-ceiling windows capture the living pictures of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Victoria, Mount Baker, and San Juan Islands. And as you gaze at that same view, you will be served the most delicious and beautifully presented 5-course breakfast. After breakfast, go hiking, biking, antiquing -- or pamper yourself with an in-room Swedish massage -- or simply curl up with a good book, waiting for whales and eagles to appear.

If I could offer a six, seven or eight star rating here, I would! From the exceptional five-course breakfasts to the views, the gardens, the incredibly specious suites and the whole eco-setting and philosophy, I loved this B&B. It's t he perfect home-base for exploring the whole Olympic Peninsula! Word of advice: You need a minimum of 4 days here to fit in everything you want to do. More if time allows! Any less than that, and you'll be sorry. The innkeepers are great! The food is made in-house and grown nearby, and the setting is incredible. Don't let the name fool you, it used to be a French-inspired B&B, but has moved with the present owners into a more contemporary Asian feel. Loved it!
Thank you so much for the kinds words... if we could give you 10 stars for being such an awesome guest, we would! :-) We hear from so many guests that they really wished they had stayed here longer, so I'm glad to hear you agreed and hope you were able to see everything you wanted to see on the Olympic Peninsula during your stay at Domaine Madeleine.

Staying at Domaine Madeleine was a happy accident. While traveling through the Olympic Pen. we were calling random locations searching for accomodations, and what a find. Outstanding rooms, service and personnel. The breakfast...WOW! I'll be back, and I'm telling all my friends.

We stayed for one night. I wish we had a week. It is quiet, comfortable and the breakfast is unbelievable! It would be a great place to write, a quiet retreat, or a romantic getaway. Jeri is a wonderful innkeeper.

Shelve that diet for your stay at Domaine Madeline, because the gourmet, 5-course breakfast is not to be missed. The beautiful house with its peaceful surrondings are well suited to a relaxing getaway. Jeri is an attentive and vivacious hostess who does everything in her power to please you. The setting is in the country, several miles to the small town center of Sequim and 15 minutes or so to downtown Port Angeles, so plan accordingly.
