We just had our Wedding on Orcas Island. Working with Doug & his Staff at the Orcas Hotel was a pleasure, he insured our day would be relaxing and fun! He handled finding the Chapel, he recommended our Officiant and organized our guests' stay at the hotel. Everyone at the hotel treated us & our guests like family. We could not have been happier with the experience.

We had reservations for two nights at the Orcas Hotel. We arrived late in the afternoon and upon checking in, were advised we had been upgraded to a room with a private bath. GREAT! We took advantage of the November dinner special at the Bistro and it was absolutely excellent. Breakfast both mornings in the Cafe were also excellent and provided with the room. Overall our stay was excellent in every way..the Management and Staff are extremely helpful and accommodating and the rooms are awesome..especially for one who enjoys antique furnishings, as we do. We are hoping to be married on the Island within upcoming months and can't wait for our next visit. Thankyou so much Doug.

I was impressed by the view of the ferry dock! The room was neat, clean, and warm. We wanted our night to be special so we got a room with a soaking tub. Not worth the extra money because the was not enough hot water to fill it all up. So, after out tepid bath we got to sleep on a very comfortable bed. In the morning the ferry horn woke us up and we got ready to go. Breakfast was enjoyable and our host was very knowledgeable and hospitable about the island. He was so wonderful!

The staff is excellent here. We had an emergency and needed to get to Seattle quickly. The staff members were quick, efficient and understanding. The rooms were nice. There is only one bathroom for 5 double room with two shower stalls. They had the best eggs ever! Food very good. The hotel is clean. The decor is nice. The grounds are beautiful. The view of the ferry coming and going is great!

Originally we had booked "Octavia's Attic" at the Orcus hotel. When we arrived the owner of the hotel welcomed us and told us he was going to upgrade us. We were bumped up to a lovely room with a private bathroom! We would have been happy with our original room, but it would have been a little cozy for the two of us and it did have a shared bathroom. Overall we were delighted with the antique furniture and the charm feel of the hotel. We LOVED the food served in the hotel cafe and the restaurant. The owner was very helpful in his suggestions and tips about the island. We were even able to sit on the balcony and watch the ferry boats! Loved our stay!
