The front desk made sure my room was ready and I could settle in even though I arrived well before check-in time.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Hotel Coolidge. We were in the Jr. King, which we shared with our rather large Golden Retriever. There was plenty of room for us and the room was very clean despite the fact that we arrived as they were finishing cleaning. The only regret was the lack of microwave. We will stay there again!

Stayed two nights at the Hotel Coolidge, and it met all of my expectations. The room offered all of the necessities -- no frills, but that's to be anticipated in an 'older' building and with such low rates. Most importantly, the room and the hotel itself was very clean and orderly. Continental breakfast on Saturday morning was less than satisfactory -- only English muffins and granola bars for a meal; Sunday morning was better as they offered a voucher for the coffee/pastry shop next door (I believe that shop is open every day but Saturdays). One important note -- bring earplugs, as I stayed in a room across from a local bar that was particularly loud throughout the night. That's not the hotel's fault, however. There is WiFi available and free parking behind the building. Service at the front desk was good. I'd stay at the Hotel Coolidge again -- very good value for what you pay!

This is the second year we stayed at the Coolidge Inn on New Year's Eve. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are very affordable. It is like stepping back in time with the room décor, lighting in hallways, solid wood accents. We like staying at this hotel so much we hope to make it a New Year's Eve tradition. Oh I forgot to mention the coffee and continental breakfast that is included.

Quaint older hotel but good value and location (downtown near train station). Adjacent restaurant was very good for break fast and lunch. Many rooms but some are long term or used for "hostels"

Fantastic historic hotel kept very well preserved. Everything about it was perfect. Very helpful people at the reception, and the room had amenities way beyond what I paid. On top of all, it is close to an Amtrak station, so even though I was driving, makes me want to try taking the train next time. Only issue that may annoy some guests is that you can hear cargo trains honking in the middle of the night...

The staff at Hotel Coolidge did everything they could to make our stay a very pleasant one. We will return.

Yes, the rooms are small and yes, many are connected. But you know that's to be expected when you're booking at a hostel/hotel. I read their site before I booked and I loved my stay. I will definitely return to the Coolidge Hotel. The room was all we needed, a bed, a bathroom and a door that locks. The price was more than reasonable, especially for the convenience of being right in the heart of White River Junction. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms and halls were clean. There was plenty to do locally. I think some people expect too much when they stay away from home.

My husband and I each had our own room; the rooms were connected by a common bathroom. No complaints other than his room had a window air-conditioner and the cool air did not quite make it as far as my room. I did have a box fan in my room, but I would have appreciated an AC as well. The Hotel Coolidge is not a typical cookie-cutter hotel, and that is precisely why we opted to stay there. If you want a place with character, history, and personality- it's the place for you. We enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed the Turkish restaurant just a few doors away.

A Gilded Age matron shows her age, but with grace and warmth. The rooms were neat and clean, the hallways spacious and quiet, and the Turkish restaurant on the corner is not to be missed.
