We got married...in a tree-house!

5 on October 20, 2014

Who can say that they were married in a tree-house? We can...and so can you! What a fantastic way to create one of the best memories ever. Booking the tree-house at Moose Meadow Lodge was hands down the best decision we made while in Vermont for our wedding. Greg (the owner and Justice of the Peace) performed our ceremony and my husband and I really clung to every word he spoke. He made it so personal to us and we couldn't have asked for a better person to perform this special occasion than Greg! The tree-house is truly a unique experience - with all the right accommodations you could think of! The grounds around the tree-house are AMAZING as well as the Lodge itself which boasts beautiful, unique guestrooms. Willie and Greg go above and beyond for their guests. Warm welcome, fantastic food and beverage, great conversation and a plethora of history of the lodge and towns nearby. They both make you feel at ease the second you are there. We are already talking about going back next year. Hands down, the best Bed and Breakfast in the area. Stop looking and book your next stay here! Thank you Greg and Willie! Marty and Banny

Cathy & Steve Get Married at Moose Meadow Lodge after 34 Years

4.8 on September 04, 2014

We decided to get married after 34 years together both at the age of 60. Moose Meadow Lodge was suggested to us for a place we could do that at. Everything about our trip and wedding in the tree house was truly the best. We wouldn't have changed a thing. Willie and Greg are outstanding. If you are young or old, but young at heart, this is the place for you. The lodge is as good as the tree house and almost as magical. The tree house brings you right back to the days in life that were easy, simple and fun. From the second you arrive and are greeted you are part of the Moose Meadow Lodge scene, it's like the biggest hug you will ever experience. Just do it and come - if you can even get a reservation. There are not any other words I can say, Just go!!! Cathy

Fantastic Experience!

I recommend Greg and Willie's home highly! They make you feel most welcome from the very minute you arrive. They are most helpful with suggestions and recommendations for activities and dining. However, they also give you the space and privacy that you want. The grounds are amazing! The Sky Loft holds the most outstanding views you will find anywhere in Vermont! A piece of Eden on Earth! Thank you so so much Greg and Willie!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

This was the perfect place for our romantic, mountain getaway. Loved the rooms, innkeepers and the grounds. It had everything you could ever want. Did not want to leave! Stay here in Waterburg and enjoy Stowe, as well.

Best B&B Ever!

5 on February 01, 2012

This B&B is a beautiful log cabin home with fine details and on a beautiful property. We loved the hiking trails, luxury options with our room and, most of all, the innkeepers. Greg and Willie were the best!

A wonderful place and superb hosts

5 on May 23, 2011

Myself and my partner found Moose Meadow on the Internet. Not really knowing what to expect, when we pulled in the drive we were very warmly welcomed. After given a tour of the beautiful home and grounds we were quite surprised to retire in the creel room to complete quietness. Greg and Willie were the most gracious hosts you could ever find. Willies breakfast was amazing and elegant. On our second day, Greg performed our wedding ceremony and made sure that it was the most special day of our lives. If you stay here be sure to visit the sky loft but wear comfortable shoes because it is a nice long hike. You will see the most amazing scenery you could ever imagine. Also be sure Greg tells you the start of SID. We will absolutely be back in the not too far future! Chris and John

Love. Love. Love.

I had no idea how much I would love this place. The owners are exceptional human beings; the B&B itself is only out of your imagination filed under, "perfect VT getaway" and the food was wonderful. I enjoyed the ambiance, conversation, food, room, snow shoe up to the skyview 'hut' and hot tub. I look forward to a summer getaway when I can use the pond and canoe. Highly recommend!
