The new owners of the Northern Lights Lodge are excited to invite you to come visit our family-friendly four season resort. The lodge is conveniently located just down the road from the Stowe Mountain Resort, and offers spacious rooms, a hot country breakfast served every morning, indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, a large jacuzzi, and plenty of games for the kids. Guests often enjoy relaxing along the Little River, which runs right through our backyard. We also offer a BYOB lounge with complimentary afternoon snacks, to relax in after skiing at Stowe Mountain, hiking or bicycling the award winning recreation path, or shopping on Main Street.
Our value rooms are quaint, smaller rooms located in our riverside building. They provide cozy accomodations and a private entrance, perfect for getting a good night's sleep after a long day skiing or hiking. These are our smallest rooms, and only have 1 full size bed, so they're great for singles, or couples that don't mind snuggling up close together in a smaller bed. They are our only rooms without air conditioning, but they do have large windows, and most of our summer nights are cool. Most of our guests in these rooms choose to keep the windows open and fall asleep to the sound of the river.
Our spacious superior rooms are located in our main building, conveniently close to the indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and breakfast lounge. They include a King bed or 2 Double beds.
Our efficiency apartments are located in our riverside building and offer a private entrance, a living room with a pull out sofa-bed and bunk beds, a small kitchen, and a seperate bedroom with a queen bed.
Our one of a kind family room is the perfect place for a family vacation. This exceptionally large room offers a full size bed, a twin bed, a set of bunkbeds, a pull out sofa.
Our standard rooms are located in our riverside building and provide comfortable accomodations with private entrances and river or courtyard views They include 1 king bed or 2 double beds.
Our Deluxe rooms are our newly renovated rooms, located in the main building. Each room is tastefully, and uniquely decorated, and includes all new furnishing, as well as flat screen televisions and DVD players. The spacious bathrooms have brand new stone flooring and fixtures, as well as large tub/shower combinations. Each room has a king bed or 2 queen beds.
Our King Suite is located in the main building, immediately next to the lobby, and provides convenient access to the indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, breakfast room, and game room. It includes a bedroom with a king size bed, a full size kitchen, and a living room with a pull out sofa bed, coffee table, and television.

Door on room did not fit. There was a space of about 2.5 inches from door bottom to floor which allow light and noise from hallway to enter room at night. Told this to desk and was told it was due to shifting of building during weather changes, however, you could see where the door had been cut on bottom. The other doors were not like this. Also cleaning staff left door open one day.

The outside can do with some upgrading, because you get one impression when driving by the lodge and another when you go inside. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was very good, a lot better than the chain hotels we have stayed in the past. We would stay at the lodge again.

Decided out of the blue to take a trip to VT as we are in love with this beautiful state. I had never stayed here before but the price was right, it was in the area we wanted and it was available. We arrived late but were greeted by one of the owners. When we got to our room the lights were already on which was nice. The beds were comfortable although the pillows went flat when you put your head on them. The room was larger than expected which was nice too. We are now in the 21 century and this little place isn't very tech friendly. There weren't outlets by the bed to plug in our ebooks, we had to unplug the lights from the extention cord to plug in our electronics and the wifi was slower than 3G. I did notice dust in places that should be cleaned regularly and the molding around the rooms, doors, windows was in disrepair. Breakfast was absolutely DELICIOUS! Everyone we ran into that worked there was very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at this hotel on August 22nd. All the hotels around were full capacity because of freshmans' arrival weekend. We had a renovated room (only the bathroom was "renovated"). Matresses are too soft, pillows are too thin, small flat screen, very good service from the front desk. We did not used the pool/jacuzzi- not privante enough (guests have to go through the pool's little bridge to access a part of the hotel). Breakfast was ok.

My son and I had only 1 day to spend at Northern Lights Lodge though we wished it could have been longer. We were made to feel at home as soon as we checked in. Our room was easy to find and were pleased to find it so clean. The beds had crisp white linens and beautiful quilts. The bathroom was immaculate. My son used the indoor pool, sauna and hot tub in the evening and was impressed how clean everything was. Breakfast was outstanding! Such a variety and so delicious a meal. When we go back to the Stowe area this is where we'll be staying. If you want a clean, homey, wonderful place to stay this is it! Thank you Michael and Shannon. You're doing a great job.
