The Hob Knob Inn was the first ski lodge in Stowe, built in 1937. Retaining it's original charm the Hob Knob has been recently renovated to include updated guest rooms,free wi-fi, service and cable TV..
Standard Room Standard Rooms Standard rooms are large and have 2 Queen size beds with outdoor balcony or patio. Views of the local landscape including 2 ponds and naturally wooded grounds.
The Suite features a large field stone fireplace in the living room and a Jacuzzi tub in the bath. There is a private bedroom with a king size bed and large doors that open into the living room. There is a fold out queen size sleeper in the living room. The fully equppied kitchen has a small dining table. The private balconey provides views of the Little River and the Stowe Rec Path.
The Hob Knob Restaurant in Stowe, Vermont has earned its reputation through the years as one of Vermont's most celebrated steakhouses. Only at the Hob Knob will you find certified Angus steaks, hand cut and seasoned in herbs and spices, then grilled to mouth watering perfection.
The hot tub is located by the lower pond and is open year round. There are instructions on opening the hot tub in the guest books located in all rooms. Anytime of year is a good time for a hot tub in Stowe.

The Hob Knob is a family owned and operated Stowe Vermont Inn & Restaurant. Built in 1937 as the first ski lodge in Stowe, the Hob Knob is now completely restored. All of our guestrooms and facilities have been recently renovated for a comfortable home like feel in an original ski lodge. Each nights stay includes a free full country breakfast in our lounge.

The rooms were a little out dated but everything was clean. The staff was wonderful. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the lounge, but did not get a chance to have dinner at the restaurant. The staff was very helpful and accomadating. If we ever travel back to Stowe, we will definatly be staying at the Hob Knob Inn!

Barbara is from New Hampshire where she was a teacher. Her daughter Kate after graduating from the University of Connecticut met her husband and moved to Stowe to join the fun. Kate and husband Rick just had their first son Sam who was born July 20 to complete the Hob Knob family business. The Hob Knob being family owned and operated gives it a charm like no other. Barbara and Rick create wonderful dishes for the restaurant, while Kate & Sam make you feel right at home.
