2-night stay in the King bedroom

    August 21, 2012

My husband and I stayed at the Willow Pond B&B last week. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone in the Shelburne/Burlington area. The facility is close to restaurants, breweries and other tourist attractions. The rooms were clean and homey. Zita and Sawyer were very friendly. And, the breakfasts were amazing! Given the chance, I would stay here again.

    Great Place, Great Time

    October 15, 2011

We stayed at Willow Pond Farm B&B end of Sep on our way home from a wedding in Boston. We had booked for 2 nights, but stayed on for a third night to see more sights, AND to enjoy the peace and quiet it offered. Great breakfast every morning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND bedroom #1, kingsized bed, windows faced Willow Pond and Green Mts. Landscaping is awesome. Close to everything in Western Vermont - Burlington, Shelburne (Farm, Museum and Vineyard), sightseeing boats on Lake Champlain, close to Stowe (Von Trapp family). Zita provided restaurant recommendations - Paulines was wonderful. Great time, great value, beautiful room!

    Save time for the Inn

    November 09, 2010

Next time I stay at Willow Pond Farm B & B, I will make time to stay on the farm for awhile to savor the splendid hospitality and lovely house and spend time on the many acres to hike to Shelburne Lake and beyond. I'd like to return in spring or summer as well to witness the beautiful gardens and surrounding wilderness, bird watch and relax. The Lees have placed binoculars all over the house for use of the guests to view the surprising variety of birds. In addition, family photos, Zita's pastel artwork, lovely quilts and country atmosphere make you want to curl up on the cushy sofa and read, daydream or chat with other guests and with the Lees themselves. What a wonderful B & B in beautiful Vermont.

    The Perfect B & B

    October 02, 2010

Willow Pond Farm Bed and Breakfast – it does not get any better than this. The Lees (Sawyer & Zita) are the perfect hosts. They make you feel like family, only better. The food is delicious. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Just one word of warning – when you say at Willow Pond you will never be satisfied with another B & B. Anna & Cecil

Wonderful Weekend at Willow Pond B&B - Superb Hospitality in a Serene Setting

    September 20, 2010

My husband and I just came from a weekend at the Willow Pond B&B. The first thing I noticed when I got out of the car and walked up to the inn was the beautiful fragrance from the flowers. It smelled amazing, and the property was beautifully maintained with lush gardens, shrubs and a beautiful pond. There are plenty of places outside to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The living area inside the inn was beautiful with, comfortable sofas, and french doors that lead to a deck, and there was a gas (I believe) fireplace. The room had a very charming & cozy atmosphere. The rooms were very lovely & cozy with beautiful views of the grounds. Our room had a view of the pond and a view of the mountains, and it was very clean & well maintained. Sawyer & Zita made us feel very welcomed. They were very informative about letting us know places to be sure to see and recommended restaurants that we might enjoy. In fact they even provided a little map with a route to each restaurant, which was very helpful. We ate at one of the restaurants they recommended the first night, and the meal was outstanding! The breakfasts were outstanding. I am on a special diet & don't eat gluten. Zita made me special gluten-free waffles the first day (regular waffles for the other guests) along with fresh fruit salad, bacon, & a delicious rhubarb dish. Everyone loved that rhubarb dish! I've never had anything like it. It was delicious, & the gluten-free waffles were the best I have ever had! We loved the breakfasts they made for us. They were absolutely delicious, and I really appreciated their special attention to my gluten-free diet. They made us feel like part of the family. They were so kind & welcoming to us. We enjoyed getting to know them as well as the other guests. We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to be able to go back again. We would love to come back & see it in the fall when the leaves are changing.
