Frog Meadow Farm is 30 minutes from either Mount Snow or Stratton Mountain ski resorts and only 4 miles from the popular Rock River swimming hole. We have spent two weekends at Frog Meadow and each time we were delighted with the rooms, etc. The only consideration you may want to consider when staying for New Years' Eve is that the pot luck is attended by at least 30 men and the music can go passed midnight. I was very disappointed that the hot tub was off limits beginning at 7:00. While I understand why Scott and David close the hot tub as a guest I think I should have been able to use the tub throughout the evening. Do remember - we like staying at Frog Meadow and Scott and David have our highest rating!

Barn Suite
Located in a separate building, the 700 square foot Barn Suite has two queen-size beds and a queen-size pullout sofa. Wall paneling and floors are made of beautiful wide red oak boards harvested from the property. The Barn Suite has a gas fireplace, is air-conditioned, has a roomy private bath and is fully furnished with a large comfortable sectional sofa, dining table and television. The kitchenette has a coffee maker, microwave, toaster and dishwasher, fridge, dishes, flatware, etc. There is also a large private deck with chaise lounges for sunbathing. In the warm months a gas BBQ grill too

Newly constructed down by the brook, the Brook Cottage has perhaps the most magical setting at Frog Meadow. Nestled under a canopy of pines and oaks and surrounded by ferns, the cabin is full of windows with a peaceful view out of every one. Be lulled to sleep by the sound of running water and crickets. There is no plumbing at the cabin. When nature calls use a tree or come to the house only 300 yards away. There is full access to the main house common areas as well as access to a full bath with tub and shower.

The North Room is the mirror image of the South Room, complete with king-size bed and a plush yet firm pillow top mattress. The North Room also has central air condtioning and beautiful views of the perrenial gardens and surrounding meadows. Situated on the second floor, the Main House South room has a king-size bed and beautiful views of the Vermont hills, the pond and gardens. With southwestern exposure the room is bright and sunny and has wonderful cross breezes. On the rare occasion that it does get warm and muggy at night there is quiet central air conditioning. A generously sized full bath tiled in beautiful blue handmade ceramics is shared with the North Room.

The Frog Meadow suite is a deluxe junior suite with a huge en-suite private bath complete with a two person whirlpool Jacuzzi and separate walk in shower with custom made accent tiles. The Frog Meadow Suite is beautifully appointed with a plush pillow top king size bed. The bed frame and side tables were designed and built by renowned Vermont artist and author Stephen Huneck especially Frog Meadow in 2001. There is also a sitting area with a comfy club chair and ottoman.

Deposit Amount Required: 50% of reservation

Cancellations: There is a 50% deposit required at the time a reservation is made. One night reservations will be charged the full amount at the time of booking. The deposit is refundable 21 days or more before your arrival. There is a cancellation fee equal to 5% of the full value of the reservation with a minimum of $35. Cancellations made less than 21 days prior to arrival for ANY REASON will not be eligible for a refund and the full amount of your original reservation will be charged to your credit card.

Rooms are held by deposit only. We will be happy to hold a room for 24 hours after your first email inquiry until you are able to reach us by phone with your credit card information. After 24 hours the room may be booked to another party unless we hear from you. Humans and emails are not infallible. Spam filters and other issues can interfere with the delivery of emails. If you do not get a response to your email within 24 hours please call 877-365-7242 to make your reservation. Rooms are not booked until you receive a response from us.

Please note that we do not give refunds for bad weather, i.e. rainy weekends or snow storms. In the case of a winter storm making travel dangerous or impossible on the day of your arrival we will be happy to issue a credit good for another stay or Frog Meadow merchandise.
