    Fabulous Country Experience

    November 15, 2012

Wow, we lucked out by choosing this place. Quiet, beautiful, wonderful house, terrific hosts, and breakfast made with farm fresh ingredients: milk, eggs, maple syrup, probably even the bacon was from the farm. Guests are also encouraged to take a long walk in the woods (a big loop trail is probably 4 miles) with their well behaved golden retrievers. Our hosts were wonderful, too. I didn't give rooms an excellent rating only because this is a farmhouse, not a 4-star hotel, and rooms are not huge. But you will be happy. We stayed in the non-traditional addition in the back (was a granny unit) and were very happy to have the additional space. For return trips to Vermont we will stay here - no need to look further.
