The Dumaine House is enchanted by the summer's cool clear days, the autumn's brilliant colors and the winter’s quiet snowfall. We are set back on 43acres of beautiful Vermont woodland. This 5 bedroom B & B is decorated with antique furniture and wood burning fireplaces in dining/lounging areas. Wake up in the morning to pristine views with freshly baked scones, coffee, tea hot chocolate, juice and fruit, with entrees that include pancakes, french toast, eggs, home fries, and sausage. Go about your day in downtown Wilmington with dining and shops to enjoy, venture to Mount Snow for a day of skiing or other activities through the year, jump on the snow mobile trails with your snowmobile and enjoy the miles of trails. You can also hike or snowshoe on the local trails that are located right on our property. Or just relax in front of the warm fires.

Had a great weekend here. The full breakfast was huge and delicious, the views of the mountains were fabulous, and Innkeeper Terrie was very welcoming and ready to help us plan our sightseeing activities. Our room was quite petite, but we enjoyed an adjoining sitting area that had a fireplace and tv. Hilly property gave an excellent and vigorous walk each morning. Have already recommended the Dumaine House to friends who want to see some snow next March. I'm certain mother nature will be happy to oblige!! Very good experience!! Thank you!! .

This was the first Bed and Breakfast that my family has ever stayed at. I have a twenty year old daughter and a 15 year old son who are used to hotels and resorts. We booked The Dumaine House for a different experience. We were supporting our daughter for the Tough Mudder event. The owners, Terry and Dave, are genuine people who really love people. We were at home in thier home. We watched the my son and I watched the football game on Daves pull down screen. We had popcorn and learned about the history of thier families rustic but very comfortable farmhouse. The breakfast was great!!! Our children (20years and 15years old) had a great time as did my wife and I. We are planning to visit our new found friends again next year. I would highly recommend staying at the Dumaine House!!!

The Dumaine family was wonderful. The breakfast was home cooked and fresh eggs are delish. I would stay there again and I will recommend to anyone that is traveling to lower VT for a quiet, off the grid place to relax.

Great Family place to stay - quiet, clean, efficient. Breakfast food was good, nothing exceptional. Would definitely stay again. B & B good for kids for sure - had stuff for the kids to do, nice rooms for them to stay in.
