We are located in Jacksonville VT, right on the VAST trail.

The Dumaine House is enchanted by the summer's cool clear days, the autumn's brilliant colors and the winter’s quiet snowfall. We are set back on 43acres of beautiful Vermont woodland. This 5 bedroom B & B is decorated with antique furniture and wood burning fireplaces in dining/lounging areas. Wake up in the morning to pristine views with freshly baked scones, coffee, tea hot chocolate, juice and fruit, with entrees that include pancakes, french toast, eggs, home fries, and sausage. Go about your day in downtown Wilmington with dining and shops to enjoy, venture to Mount Snow for a day of skiing or other activities through the year, jump on the snow mobile trails with your snowmobile and enjoy the miles of trails. You can also hike or snowshoe on the local trails that are located right on our property. Or just relax in front of the warm fires.

Great experience staying here! I was made to feel like family from the moment I arrived! Very nice and accommodating family that went out of their way to show me around the area. Great food and comfy room, would definitely stay again!

Great Family place to stay - quiet, clean, efficient. Breakfast food was good, nothing exceptional. Would definitely stay again. B & B good for kids for sure - had stuff for the kids to do, nice rooms for them to stay in.

Directions to property:
Located on Route 100 South of Wilmington. Take Route 9 East to Route 100 South. In center of Jacksonville, take a right staying on Route 100, go up the steep hill. Second right is Academy road, follow 1/4 mile to end of the road. FROM BOSTON: Follow Rt. 2 west until Rt. 2 merges with Rt. 91. Go south on Rt. 91/2 for one exit and then follow Rt. 2 for 4 miles. At the Colrain/Shelburne road take a right and travel 19 miles (when you come to the Route 112 intersection, stay North/straight on Rte 112) into Vermont. You will come into the village of Jacksonville, stop at the stop sign and turn to the left on to Rt.100 south. Travel up the hill and then take your second right on to Academy Road. FROM THE NORTH WEST OR BENNIGNTON follow Rt. 9 east through to Wilmington and take a right on to Rt. 100 south (DO NOT take Rte 100 south in Woodford). Follow 100 south into Jacksonville center and take a right staying on 100 south. Go up the hill and then take your second right on to Academy Road.
