Our fully renovated 18th century Schoolhouse blends antique charm with modern convenience.
The wraparound deck extends back to a private area with hot tub. Blooming flowers and old maple trees surround you.
The Schoolhouse's fully equipped kitchen includes refrigerator/freezer, four-burner gas stove & oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, plates, glasses, silverware and basics such as flour, sugar, cooking oil and spices.
The living/dining area features a thermostat-controlled gas fireplace with logs, a dining table and six chairs, and a collection of antique game boards. Arm chairs, rockers, a leather couch and an antique day bed provide comfort, all under skylight views of ancient maples.
The White Bedroom is provided with custom cabinetry, charming drawings and artwork, a small library, and a skylight overhead to watch the stars as you lie in bed at night. It also has its own door onto the back deck with access to the hot tub. This room is wheelchair accessible, as is the neighboring bathroom.
The four-person hot tub on the private back deck provides a lovely way to relax after a day of hiking or sightseeing.
A daytime view of the living/dining area. Skylights overhead provide plenty of light, even in the fall and winter months.
The kitchen also features track lighting and an intimate dining area, enhanced by a collection of small paintings and drawings and beautiful glass-shaded lamps.
The Blue Bedroom features a Shaker-style wall of cupboards, closets and drawers, as well as a tasteful selection of paintings, antique furniture and rugs to delight the eye.
Even the bathroom is furnished with art and antiques, along with a cedar-lined shower/tub, washer/dryer, track lighting and skylight.

Come stay in our fully renovated 18th century schoolhouse in scenic southern Vermont. Furnished with Americana, Schoolhouse No. 10 has two bedrooms with double beds, full bath, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and year-round hot tub on a wraparound deck. The Schoolhouse is 20 minutes from I-91 and downtown Brattleboro, close to The Marlboro Music Festival, Yellow Barn Music Festival, Vermont Jazz Center, Actors Theater Playhouse, New England Youth Theater, Art and Antiques galleries, hiking/snowshoeing trails, fishing streams and ponds, rivers to swim in, cross-country skiing, and numerous restaurants featuring every choice from haute cuisine to sandwiches and pizza. Golf at nearby Crumpin' Fox Golf Club in Bernardston, Massachusetts. Organic local breakfast fixings (including eggs, bacon/sausage, coffee/tea, bread/rolls, granola, & maple syrup) are provided so you can cook your own breakfast at your chosen time.
