Wonderful Experience!

5 on March 10, 2015

Every aspect of our stay was spot on. Even though my reservation was somehow misplaced, Linda went above and beyond to accommodate us. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was scrumptious.

Pleasant stay

We were there only one night but enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was fantastic as was the sangria we enjoyed upon our arrival. The only thing we didn't like was having the bathroom down the hall.(It was for our use only during our stay but was not in the room itself.) Room 904 was great and we probably would have had a view of Lake Champlain if it hadn't been snowing!

First bed and breakfast experience and loved it!

This was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and myself new had never been to Burlignton so decided to start looking for places. We wanted something different than a traditional hotel and we stumbled on this place. The uniqueness of each room caught our eye. Everything in this place has character, from the records everywhere to the salt shakers. Rooms were great and beds comfy. Personal bathroom as well down the hall. Breakfast was phenomenal! Innkeeper is one of a kind. Very personable and friendly. Great recommendations for spots to go. We will defiantly be going back!

Great Stay!

Husband and I have stayed at other inns, this one takes the cake. Clean fun wonderful and we can't wait to go back! The inn keeper is fabulous and her attention to detail made it just like home!

Best B&B. Period.

Made INN Vermont is simply the best bed and breakfast experience I have ever had. The style of the inn is impecable - I feel like I am living in art. Linda, the owner, is very personable and friendly without being the least bit overbearing. The food is fantastic. I would stay here again and again (and I have!).

Linda was a gracious guest:)

The Vermont Made Inn is a unique experience: from a heated enclosed widow's walk, to drinks offered at the right moments. Set in the heart of Frat row Burlington, and within easy strolling distance of the walking Mall, it is truly an urban chic boutique inn:)

Our mid-sized guestroom boasts a king bed, and has two windows that look out through the surrounding trees. Think a treehouse! The third window looks out over downtown Burlington and has seasonal views of Lake Champlain. One of our ttwo original marble sink vanities preserved under glass can be found here, as well as our first class amenities; plush robe and slippers, 32" LED HDTV with DVD player, and well stocked fridge, to name a few. The soaring ceilings add to the spacious feel of 904.

  • Maximum Capacity: 2

Spread out and settle in here - 905 has room to spare. A queen bed, of course including our gel-foam topper, designer bedding and underbed lighting; an oversized mid century lounger with ottoman and a walk in closet. This room personifies "personal space". Feel free to decorate the blackboard wall with whatever strikes your fancy. Borrow several movies from our private collection to watch on the 32" HDTV w/DVD player. Or just relax and enjoy some of our Vermont delicacies from the mini-fridge.

  • Maximum Capacity: 3

Room 906 is sister to room 903 but with a queen size bed, making it the perfect cozy retreat for two. And while smaller in stature, it still has all of the fabulous amenities of our other rooms - from the chalkboard wall, to the stocked mini fridge, to the underbed lighting. And the luxurious bedding just makes it easier to drift off into a sound, peaceful slumber!

  • Maximum Capacity: 2

Although Room 903 is our smallest guest room, it still has all of the fabulous amenities of our other rooms - from the chalkboard wall, to the stocked mini-fridge, to the underbed lighting. The tall leaded glass Victorian window looks out over the rear garden area, and a rooftop garden right outside the window is planned for spring, 2013. The cozy full-sized bed encourages two to cuddle, or allows one to spread out. And the luxurious bedding just makes it easier to drift off into a sound, peaceful slumber!

About the innkeepers

My Daughter, Shelly Voorhees and I have travelled extensively, and it was her idea to create an Vermont “Experiential” B&B. She found this Victorian home and that was the start of us creating a fun, generous environment that offers casual artistry, showcasing Burlington’s eclectic style. Shelly has the honor of being a Miami Red Dot Cover Artist, as well as an acclaimed Washington DC artist at the early age of 23. She is in Brooklyn, designing jewelry, but her Masterpieces still adorns our INN!
