    The perfect escape

    The Lilac Inn is a get-away at anytime of year. We decided to get a room in March with a fireplace and spent two nights in Heaven. The Inn has a perfect balance between grace/elegance & comfortable/friendly. If you just want some peace you can enjoy the feeling of being tucked away & genuinely taken care of, or if you are looking for some activities Doug has a lot of suggestions and fun to chat with. 'For a small town they manage to have art, gift, kitchen, clothing store & restaurant choices. We truly loved our time there.

    • Minimum Stay: 2 nights - holidays & foliage weekends

    • Cancellations: Please don't but if you must....and can give us a thirty (30) day notice prior to your arrival, we will refund your deposit minus a $35 processing fee. If you cancel within thirty (30) days of your arrival, or an early checkout, we will issue a voucher for the entire deposit amount to be used toward a future stay. Vouchers are valid for one (1) year from date of issue and do have restricted periods: Foliage, Middlebury Events / Graduations, Dunmore / Keywadin Weekends, or holiday weekends. 

Minimum stay is 2 days on weekends and 3 days on holiday weekends.
