Conveniently located in Central Vermont, Maplecroft B&B allows you to experience Vermont from its heart. Maplecroft is a grand 1887 Victorian home built by Scottish immigrant and granite entrepreneur George Mackie, and features a circular tower, carved wood trim, high ceilings and antique furnishings. Lovingly renovated, Mackie's "Scottish castle" is the perfect place from which to enjoy the Barre-Montpelier area and Central Vermont with all its beauty and history.
Maplecroft offers three double-occupancy guestrooms and two suites with TV's, one with a full kitchen. All rooms have either a king or queen bed and a private bath, and both suites have an additional queen-size sleeper sofa. Common areas include a period parlor, dining room and music room with grand piano, as well as a comfortable den with a TV and a wraparound porch.
