Found the Homestead while looking for a convenient spot near our Cousin's house in Barnett. Its proximity to their house(5 minute drive down the road) made it the perfect location. Gail made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the time we left. She made herself available for me to drop our bags off and check in during our family gathering. room was spacious, with a sink, bathroom down the hall.(two of her rooms have en suite) Great breakfast in the morning of buckwheat blueberry pancakes, sausage, warm apple crisp, juice, and coffee. This will be our new home each year going forward when we attend future family Turkey roasts!

The old Homestead is quite cozy, we love the surroundings with tall trees, shrubs and the white hydrangeas. Out host Gail was quite the GPS- she gave maps & suggested places of interests- which was so helpful. She is very knowledgeable, great cook & great host.
