We stayed three nights and had a fantastic time. Billy and Sharon were extremely helpful and got us reservations for the things we wanted to do. Their reccomendations were right on.

My wife and I have been staying at other B&B's in Williamsburg for several years. Most of them have put huge dents in our budgets. At Fife & Drum for a little more than half of what we would have spent at another B&B, we had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back. Service and Value are outstanding. Room was small and tv could have been a little bigger. While the room was very clean when we checked in after we took our showers the first night, a heavy mildew smell tended to come from the bathroom. Everything looked clean so I don't know if it was the pipes or not enough ventalation in the bathroom. It was not terrible but was not pleasant either. For the breakfast, some people probably love it, but my wife and I have dietary restrictions and could not eat very much of it but cannot penalize them for that. What we were able to eat it was ok but not spectacular by any means. Overall though, we can afford to stay there two times longer than other places for the same money so we will most definitely be back!

Absolute best place to stay in Williamsburg. Location can't be beat. right in the middle of Colonial Willimasburg and the College of William and Mary. Each room is unique and spacious. Billy and Sharon are quick with Williamsburg history or great recommendations. I'll be back as soon as I can.

Have stayed at Fife and Drum 4 or 5 times now. Would never consider staying anyplace else in Williamsburg. The location alone is simply the best in town. The rooms, friendly service, homey feel, proximity to Colonial Wmsburg/Merchant Square/Wm & Mary College, and the great breakfast just add to the appeal. This is the THE place to stay.

We stayed in the Restoration Suite and loved it. Clean room and modern bathroom. Located right on the edge of the shopping and historic areas. Just park your car and enjoy.
