    Best Staycation ever!

    My husband and I needed a quick weekend getaway. We chose to go to Va. Beach and this is my second visit to the Beach Spa Bed and Breakfast. I Love the Princess Anne Room. It has a tiny balcony that creates a great view. You can smell the ocean and it's close enough to walk over to the beach. The Innkeepers are AWESOME! We felt like we were the only one's there and we were very comfortable in our room! It was just what the Doctor Ordered! We will definitely return and would recommend this B&B to anyone coming to visit!

    My husband and I have stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast many times. We absolutely love the location, and how nice the rooms are. Rich and Sharon, the innkeepers, are a delight! The breakfasts are fantastic!!! The spa showers are amazing! This is a place that feels like home for us when we want to get away for a few days. The location is just a couple of blocks from the ocean, and convenient to many restaurants and attractions.     Family Reunion

    We just spent 6 nights at the BeachSpa and want to provide our enthusiastic endorsement. While the facilities and location are truly excellent, innkeepers Rich and Sharon really make the experience a memorable one. Both were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Rich is an excellent chef and we enjoyed every breakfast. We found his local knowledge of the area and restaurants also very helpful. Our stay was in November and on a couple of mornings the weather was quite brisk, but Rich had a nice wood fire going in the fireplace when we arrived for coffee and breakfast. Our accommodations were roomy and comfortable. Our room was on the first floor -- "Hilltop House". The spa-shower in our bathroom provided all of the bells and whistles you could possibly imagine, but more importantly, all of the hot water and water pressure you could ask for. Our friends stayed in the room next door, the Newcastle, and were equally pleased. There were a few early problems with the WiFi internet connection, due to a recent brush with Hurricane Sandy, but those issues were promptly resolved and service from then on was excellent. Our son (a Navy pilot) is stationed in VA Beach. We expect to visit again over the next few years and this is where we plan to stay.

    Reservation Policy

    • Check In: 3 pm    Check Out: 11 am

    • Minimum Stay: 2 night stay on weekends; 3 night stay on holiday weekends

    • Cancellations: Guest is reponsible for 50% of all charges if reservation is cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival. If cancellation occurs or your stay is shortened, Beach Spa BnB will refund a 50% charge if room is rebooked. A service charge of $25.00 is applied for any cancellation. CANCELLATION within 72 hours of arrival date is charged 100%. Massages require 48 hours or more to schedule. Massages cancelled less than 48 hours are fully charged. Due to last minute cancellations and our need to maximize capacity, Beach Spa B&B reserves the right to move double occupancy room reservations to accommodate more guests. If we move you to a differnt room for this purpose, we will extend a 10% discount off the room rate.

    Very relaxing

    My husband and I stayed here the night after our wedding just to get away from all the family and chaos. The proprieters were extremely easy to work with and accomodating to our schedule. We loved our room (and the bathroom was a delight!). The place manages to feel very secluded even while being in the midst of Virginia Beach. Breakfast was delicious. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

    Innovative Breakfasts

    Tasty breakfast each morning. Because the dining room is small, you have an assigned time for breakfast. The owners were very helpful in directing us to nearby attractions and restaurants. There is a lot to see and do in nearby towns as well. It is a short walk to the Boardwalk and is located on a quiet residential street. Awesome bathroom! Huge and full of natural light.

    Charming and relaxing ... the perfect vacation spot! From Luis and Diandra

    My boyfriend and I were here in June and we had a really wonderful time. We got caught up in a whirlwind of visiting relatives, additional excursions and family hecticness hence the uber late review! It was my boyfriend, Luis', birthday and we hadn't had a vacation in 2 years. He said all wanted was to go away and relax, why not go down to VA Beach? I started looking for hotels in the area and things for us to do and was getting lost in the business of the main boardwalk strip. Using his request for relaxation as my guide, I decided to start looking up B&Bs which led me to this website! This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and Sharon and Rich have set a high bar for the next one we go to! We arrived earlier than normal check-in time but Rich and Sharon allowed us to drop our things off, gave us our room keys and the tour. We wandered for a bit to give housekeeping a chance to finish with our room and were really surprised at how close we were to the beach! We rented a few bikes, which Rich said we could store in the back. The day after we arrived our central air went out and we told Rich and Sharon about it during breakfast. We went to the beach for a few hours and came back to a nice cool room, courtesy of Rich installing a window unit because our central air died. The breakfasts were phenomenal and filling - we only needed a snack and dinner. Rich, if you read this, you ought to think about tacking cooking lessons onto your list of services! Aside from the breakfasts, they were both very knowledgeable about different places to eat in the area and were excited to tell us all that VA Beach had to offer. I've had 3 mini vacations this year and to be honest the one I want to go back to the most is the long weekend we spent at the Beach Spa! We came back so relaxed and content that it really didn't feel like a vacation because we weren't stressing anything! Thank you thank you thank you for everything!
