Let us be "your place in the country". We are a fifteen room inn spread throughout a small village of six guest houses surrounding a large limestone spring in the Shenandoah Valley. Set amidst 100 scenic acres in orchard country, the Inn is ideally located between the historic sites of Winchester and outdoor activities near Front Royal and Shenandoah National Park's Skyline Drive. Choose from a wide variety of accommodations, from the elgance of the historic Vaucluse Manor House to the log and stone warmth of an 1850's log house, to the privacy of individual cottages. Spacious guest rooms indulge your senses with Jacuzzis, fireplaces, queen and king beds, and bucolic views. Sitting rooms, porches and outdoor seating abound, providing nooks for intimate conversation and daydreaming.

Wifi connection would have been great, but otherwise had a wonderful stay and would come again!

The Mill House Studio was charming, clean, elegant, quiet; the sound of the waterfall was relaxing. Would return to the Inn at Vaucluse Spring and stay at the Mill House Studio again. Although our dinner was delicious and a pleasant experience, the price was very high.

The Inn is unusual for many reasons: from the grounds, all you see is property the Inn owns; in addition to the main house (where meals are served), there are several individual buildings which provide a great deal of privacy; Chef Adam is outstanding and you won't be disappointed with the food; the entire ambience is one of graceful relaxation. In addition, there are many activities in the nearby area: the Shenandoah National Park and river; historic homes; antique shops; and Virginia wineries. It is easy to fill up your day with activities and then return to the Inn to enjoy a wonderful meal and a good night's sleep.

The Inn at Vaucluse Spring has involved and caring inn keepers supported by staff that reflect the inn keepers approach to providing an exceptional bed and breakfast experience. Go enjoy the pleasure of a relaxing time in the country with recreation opportunities ranging from relaxing at the Inn to exploring the Shenandoah Valley. I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts and this one tops my list.

We have stayed at numerous B&Bs and this one did not disappoint. The accommodations and service were very nice, there is nothing to complain about! The setting is lovely, very peaceful and relaxing. The Saturday night dinner tasting menu was very good, including the recommended wines. The staff were helpful and courteous.

"It was a dark and stormy night", when we arrived at Vaucluse Spring. A warm welcome awaited us which helped us forget the weather. I had reserved their cabin, which was charming, cozy, romantic and private. The passing thunder and lightening only enhanced our experience. I also reserved dinner, which turned out to be a highlight. We were the only dinner guests. We had the chef completely to ourselves. He was so passionate and interesting that the evening speed by too quickly. But we enjoyed a sumptuous dinning experience with wine parings that we will never forget. The whole setting of Vaucluse Spring is remote, private and relaxing; just what we needed. My wife was delighted to spend her birthday here, and we will return.

This is a beautiful piece if property. There is so much space that you can experience a private getaway while having a great place for dinner and breakfast. Great location if you plan on hitting some wineries during the weekend.

My wife and I stayed in the Mill House for our first anniversary. The location was perfect - the pond, garden, and waterfall all helped us relax and enjoy a weekend away. The Mill House used to be a studio and is stocked with art supplies. Though neither of us are very talented in that area, the picturesque surroundings inspired us to try our hand. We found plenty to do in the surrounding area as well. Barry and Neil welcomed us warmly and were fantastic hosts. The food was truly exceptional - my wife is lactose intolerant, and the chef made amazing substitutions that were both delicious and kind to her stomach. Thank you for a perfect weekend!

What a wonderful find! We loved the property, the facility, the food and the accomdating people who run the Inn. My wife has specific food requirements and they bent over backwards to ensure that she got acceptable options based on advance request. We loved it and will be back
