Let us be "your place in the country". We are a fifteen room inn spread throughout a small village of six guest houses surrounding a large limestone spring in the Shenandoah Valley. Set amidst 100 scenic acres in orchard country, the Inn is ideally located between the historic sites of Winchester and outdoor activities near Front Royal and Shenandoah National Park's Skyline Drive. Choose from a wide variety of accommodations, from the elgance of the historic Vaucluse Manor House to the log and stone warmth of an 1850's log house, to the privacy of individual cottages. Spacious guest rooms indulge your senses with Jacuzzis, fireplaces, queen and king beds, and bucolic views. Sitting rooms, porches and outdoor seating abound, providing nooks for intimate conversation and daydreaming.

4.4 out of 5Weekend at the Inn at Vaucluse Spring
May 08, 2013
We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Vaucluse Spring. We are history buffs so the manor house was of major interest to us. Beautifully restored. We stayed in the cottage near the manor house which was very convenient for meals. We had dinner at the Inn on Saturday night and that was an excellent culinary experience. Our room had a bit of a musty smell to it that dissipated after our second day there. Neil and Barry are very kind and helpful. It is a wonderful place to relax as there are no televisions in the cottage we were in. Activities close by were taken advantage of by my family. We golfed at Jackson's Chase and had a wonderful trail ride at Double H Stables, both in Front Royal but only 15 minutes from the Inn. We will definitely be going back. May 07, 2013
As in a previous review, my wife and I were wondering if we were on the right road leading to the stately Manor that grabbed our attention in the Select Registry and found on the website. But just as the green of spring sneaks up on you, The Manor House and Cottages appear, and the pictures come to life. This was a little spring getaway from the big city to a country retreat. When we arrived on the property, we found such diverse accommodations from a 200 year old Manor House to a Mill Studio that sits amidst the spring located mid point on the property. Surrounding the accommodations, were well manicured rolling hills and a variety of trees and plants littered throughout the property. We stayed in the Barton Room of the Manor House and each morning we were greeted with friendly and attentive service from the Chief to the Owner. The Owners made you feel as though you were their only guess sitting down to have a conversation with you at the end of the day or making a toast at dinner time ensuring the guests that they are appreciated and return guess are acknowleged as valued customers. The food was a surpise and delight. The Breakfast meal was to die for and afternoon homemade cookies and refreshments were the treat in our day. Overall, we felt as though we had found Heaven tucked away in Virginia at the Inn At Vaucluse Springs.

We had a wonderful wedding anniversary weekend. This was our 5th or 6th visit! Neil and Barry make us feel like we are part of the family. Stayed in the main house this time, but all of their rooms are wonderful - each unique from one another. The Mill House is extra special! We will keep coming back - a great get away with lots to see and do in the surrounding area.

5 out of 5Sister's Weekend
May 01, 2013
My two sisters and I stayed here for two nights for our annual Sister's Weekend. The whole experience was fabulous! We couldn't have been treated better and the food and rooms were wonderful. Neil and Barry were there to greet us every time we turned around and the staff was exceptional. I highly recommend the Inn for a romantic get-a-way, a weekend like my sisters and I did or even an event like a wedding or family reunion. First class all the way!!!
4.8 out of 5Our little secret
April 17, 2013
I'm apprehensive about writing this review as I'd like to keep it a secret, but I must return the favor of their hospitality. This place is an absolute gem. Likely the most romantic weekend you'll spend so close to DC. Check out some wineries, go hiking, ride horseback... The area has lots to offer, but be sure to relax and take it all in. We found that exploring a site and hitting a single vineyard was the perfect day. We stayed in the cabin and it was sublime. Not a single detail was unchecked; Barry, Neil, and the staff have done an amazing job putting together and maintaining the property. Dining was top-notch and you won't find anything to rival it close by. You'll be asked if you'll be staying for dinner when you make your reservation... Just say yes. Trust me, I did the research. Chef Adam and the staff are outstanding. I reviewed countless places within four hours of the DC area before selecting Vaucluse for our first anniversary. I have no doubt that it was not only the best option, but the closest. A real no-brainer and we can't wait to go back!
5 out of 5What a lovely place
April 03, 2013
My husband and I spent a weekend at Vaucluse in celebration of our 2nd anniversary, and it was lovely! Everything from the warm welcome at the door, to the delicious 4 course dinner and 3 course breakfast, to the spacious, clean and inviting bedrooms, to the lovely landscapes. It was just wonderful!

We have stayed at the Inn at Vaucluse multiple times and have always had an outstanding visit. Barry and Neil are the most gracious hosts. We enjoy staying in B&Bs instead of hotels, and have stayed in countless B&Bs. But the Inn at Vaucluse is the crown jewel of them all.
